Gotta get back to training my forearms

been slacking, I like to have big forearms that really stick out when I wear t shirts.
 
What do you normally do for them? You look like they are big naturally. I've never trained mine. That might be why they are so weak though
 
Yeah. They improve definition probably more than adding mass though. I think forearms are one of the most genetic dependent muscles groups.
 
I do dumbbell wrist curls bringing my wrist curled in and out and that's helped mine. Also hammers and even just grabbing a heavy set of dumbbells and simply holding them at my sides for as long as I can for 3 sets, that's helped my grip strength too

Barbell wrist curls off the bench are what I do most. They are not big naturally. I have worked forearms since day one when I picked up a weight back in high school.
 
I have weck looking forearms. But they are strong. I always do hammer curls when I do arms.
 
hammer curls and pin wheel curls..I go pretty heavy on them, heavy for me anyway.


I will sometimes do a reverse curl on cables...just for a change of pace
