I still can NOT believe your heart was only functioning at 20%. That is some scary shit man! Hell 40% is scary to even though it doubled in a month.

My next docotrs visit I am going to order a stress test! I havent had one in years. Last one I had was right after a friend died in his sleep from a massive heart attack and he was maybe 29yrs old i forget exactly but it scared a bunch of us to get the test done and i want to do it again soon!

Actully 40% is higher than what you think it is..for guys our age (mid 30ish) a normal functioning heart is around 50-55%...thats what it should be at...What you might ask for is a EKG, and if they find anything abnormal then they will do a ultrasomnagram (sp?) or something like that...

Any idea what the highest percentage is for a functioning heart and at what age it occurs? Pretty interesting.
