I've tried these in the past and did them again today for legs. I always feel awkward doing them, but they burn like hell. Does anyone else ever do them? It's also a concern when the barbell gets close to the sack, it could be a disaster
 
yeh man i do em on ham and glute day sometimes... it takes a while to master the movement... i got em from kai greene in MD, and there some vids on utube of him doing them... i need(ed) to bring up my hams and glutes so ive been looking for some good exercises... this is a good one at the end coz u cant use alot of weight and is kinda awkward... but u can get a get a good squeeze and burn with it ...
 
ive done them before... and the BIGGEST piece of advice i can offer about them is START LIGHT

i was introduced to them a few months ago and loved the different feel i got from them, but then
my dumb ass decided to go heavier without using my head first.. i ended up tweaking my back
because of the awkard angle you squat at... so in closing, dnt use it as a primary exercise, at first try to
use it towards the end of your workouts and concentrate on contraction more than anything before upping
the weight

Yea that's a good tip. My dumbass came up too fast one time and needless to say it was the last rep of the day
