Joined the local Y.M.C.A. , curious if all YMCA are this big?

So wife and I joined the YMCA by us as they have swimming lessons for the twins, and activities to do and they also have daycare if we want to workout, so i checked out their weight room, man YMCA has it going on! Not sure if its like this with all of them or not, but man this place is huge, Basketball court(inside) Olympic pools, Huge Locker rooms, Sauna, Racketball, and the gym had two big rooms, free weights and Another room for treadmills and such, it was an upstairs and downstairs giant building!

Anyways we joined as a family and for the 4 of us it was only $59 per month, and they have a bunch of rooms with classes, spin, class, boxing, zoomba shit, pretty crazy!

I of course still have my regualr gym membership, and I have not gone to the YMCA yet, but wife will be done school this week as she teaches Highschool and has summer off, so will go soon and see how it is,

Anyone else ever seen or been to a YMCA and are they all like this? This was first time i was ever in one,

Yeah, there are some huge ones around me. Huge pools, tennis courts, racquet ball, basketball, aerobics, coffee shops, everything you can think of.

we have several near me and they are all pretty nice with some of the items you mentioned.... I was in Georgia for work and they had a huge one with a indoor track and full basket ball court a free weight room and a cardio room also had a separate room with just machines. The Y's receive a lot of donations so they can afford nice shit if managed properly.

havent gone yet lmao, was waiting until wife was done work for the summer, shes a teacher so we figured we would wait until the summer break for her, but havent gone yet

Ymca here in Idaho is awesome. Great big place, great machines, pools and stuff.

I live by some decent ones, just not enough stuff when it comes to the weight room. The one thing that would be nice when you travel, is you always have a gym you can go to even if it is one of the crappy ones.
