I just won the light heavy's and overall bodybuilding class and 2nd overall in classic physique at the 2017 NPC powerhouse classic this past weekend. I'm already back to work taking full advantage of this rebound. Morning of the show (Saturday) I weighed in at 181. After two meals with high carbs I weighed in at 185 before hitting the stage. After talking to my coach I decided to stick with classic physique for right now for Team U. I am 5'9.5 so I will be in the Class B class. Top Weight for that class is 192. After some cheat meals and other high clean carb meals I woke up this morning weighing 201. Of course a lot of it is water and some fat. I feel like a monster and already strong as an ox. Pumps are through the roof and it will only get better. I will be updating as much as I can and touching on almost every part of my prep and also answering any questions. I am 26 years old and have been competing since I was 19. If there are any young guys that need help with answering questions I am here for you. There is a lot of BS on the internet that can hurt you so if I can help you to avoid that I will! Couple pics from today's training session.

This morning I weighed in at 194. Been back on my diet since Monday. 5 meals a day for now with high carbs and 2 of those meals are red meat. Training 5 days a week with 2 off days. Should be adding more food to this diet soon.

That's right! Lol crazy bs!

Looks like your Leaving nothing to chance now!

So I want to share my story with everyone on here. 10-24-2013 I was hurt at work. Lower back injury that required surgery. I just came off of a junior class win at the 2013 Lehigh valley championship May 25th 2013. I also took 5th in the open light heavy's. I began my offseason and it was going great. I got up to 240 which I look back at now and there was no need to get that heavy in the offseason. I have learned so much through the years but gaining all that water and holding fat is counter productive in my opinion. I think you should stay between 10-15 pounds of your contest weight. I love when people say oh ya I gained 50 pounds this offseason. How much of that do you think your going to bring to the stage? Maybe 5-6 pounds and that's a big maybe to be shredded. That is just my opinion. Anyway when the injury happened it put me out of work and the gym for 2 years. I was extremely depressed and stressed. I was told by my surgeons that there is no way I would be able to step back on stage or do any sports related activitys. Wouldn't be able to run and the gym would be very limited. My whole life had changed at 23 years old. I had one choice and that was to focus on getting my life back. I refused to settle for what these surgeons had said. So the picture on the left is from March 2015 3 weeks post back surgery and roughly 16 months of no gym or diet. Sat in my house all day and night in pain. The picture on the right is from this past weekend. The goal was to see if I could get back on stage and I blew that out of the water by winning my first overall title. As athletes injuries happen. I hope this gives hope and inspiration to any of MC members struggling through injury right now. Don't give up!

Congrats man. I just got back into training the last 6 months, haven't paid attention to the Npc in years. Was wondering if the team universe still has that joke drug testing?? It was so stupid because the class winners at the universe were always better than the class winners at the USA yet they claimed the team universe to be a natural contest. That makes a whole lot of sense. Anyway, good luck with everything man. I heard about the new classic physique class pretty cool I think.

Strength is getting better day by day. Sticking to clean foods just a lot of it. Cheat meal every 5 days depending on look in the morning. 5 guys or chipotle. I don't get too crazy with the cheats. 100% focused. 201 this morning and really don't care what my weight is getting closer to the show but it would be nice to hit a lean 210 8 weeks out. Some pics from this morning and post workout. MC igf is fantastic!!
