This is my first log, so any guidance is greatly appreciated. I’ve done some pretty good research this year to arrive at this cycle and dosages. For the group, here’s my info so you can let me know where I need adjustments.
I’m going to turn 60 at the end of December, great health, former athlete, but in younger years. 5’7” tall.
Always active though. In October of ‘22 I had spine surgery on my neck, and spent a year getting fat and atrophying. Got back in my gym in January of this year. I’ll post a picture of then vs now so you can see what I’ve done on my own, and why I want pro help to go further. My goal is to put on a good amount of muscle, but also achieve a certain aesthetic. A cut, muscular mature man look, not a Dorian Yeates “size for its own sake” look. My arms are just now approaching 16”, but not quite. I want 18” arms, 19” if I can get them. V-taper to waist, big quads.
My first actual cycle was in February, 8 weeks, test c at 400mg/ week and oral Turinabol. After an 8 week off cycle, I did 9 weeks Test C to 500/ wk and Anavar, 25 mg/ day.
January I weighed 240 lbs, over 25% body fat. Today I am 184 lbs, about 15% bf.
This summer, my Blood markers were all great except elevated liver enzymes, probably from the oral Var. I’ve had no orals for 2 months now. I’m on TRT for life. (Story for another time.)
2 weeks ago I started this cycle:
Test C- 250mg/ week - now up to 400/ week
Primo- 150mg/week, as of today going to 300/ wk
NPP- 150mg/ wk, today going to 300/ wk.
I’m not against adding an oral in there at the end of the cycle to look more dry/cut.
Doing NPP rather than Deca to start to see how it goes. I’m responding quite well so far, no sides no anxiety etc. I could switch to Deca if you guys think it’s a better option.
Food is highly controlled, have added calories into diet now after the weight loss phase. (Lost 55 pounds)
I’m now getting 2,000 calories/ day. It’s still a calorie deficit because I have this fucking spare tire that is taking forever to go, but it’s going… I could probably do more calories since I want growth. But I don’t want fat gain. Soon enough if I can hit around 10% bf, it will be wide open.
I am getting from 180-210g protein/ day. 150g from shakes, both whey and bovine. The rest from chicken or beef and egg whites.
Carbs are from veggies and brown/black rice mix. I don’t feel like I’m getting enough carbs. I try to get about 800-900 calories from carbs but fall short sometimes. The rest is fats to get around the 2K calories. Should I add calories, and should they all be carbs?
Workout is a 4 day split, back to back, so 8 days on, then a rest day:
1. Arms
2. Chest & Shoulders. (my shoulders won’t handle dips yet at all. Right shoulder hurts often)
3. Back & Abs
4. Legs
As for gear, money is not an issue for me, I can afford anything I want. Using Bitcoin is a fuckng bitch though… I’m married to an accountant and I don’t want her to know I’m using steroids outside of my TRT. Linking to a bank account is a non-starter for me, so I’m stuck with the labs that take PayPal or Venmo. Everyone wants Crypto only it seems. That makes it hard for me. I like PSL, but they just dropped Venmo. I’d like to use SB Labs or others, but again, crypto only.
Okay gents here we go. I bought Tren, but am saving it for the next cycle, and that’s if I get good advice on low dose usage. I know some Tren guys here, they’re either in jail for fighting or have had heart attacks doing cardio. They were blasting 400 or more per week. They turned to abusive assholes right around the 400 mark I think…
