I just wanted to make a quick post for those who have lower back issues. Number one always check with a doctor. For me I did not have any actual injuries, just tended to be a bit sore in the area like many others I am sure. Lower back was an area I neglected in training because of this. I could not have been more wrong! I have since included dead lifts and extensions into my workouts and do both styles twice a week. I had to get over an initial mucsle soreness but that was only temporary. Now I have to say I do not have any more lower back soreness. My squatting has improved as well and I used to be very sensative to the squat. Now I have a greatly developed lower back, no more pains and I think a greater overall strenth.
