Morning workouts

I was just wondering if anyone here lifts in the morning. I know that working a full time job its tough to get to the gym at night. Does anyone here lift in the morning?? Do you lift on an empty stomach? Maybe drink a Speed Stack or something? Let me know. I think I am going to start working out in the mornings. I wanted some advice, or input.

they freaking suck, imo, i used to work out about 6 in the morning, and i was always weaker, even with taking an eca stack, and now the older i get i'm trying to get away from the eca stacks, but anyhow, i ended up dropping a 45 pound plate on my foot (from beign half asleep) crushed 3 toes, had to have my toenails removed and have my toes stitched up inder my toe nails, that was the end of the line for me, i started going back in the evenings, but again i'm not a morning person, so give it a try and see what you think.
 
I never lift on an empty stomach.
My favorite time to lift is around 10:00 AM. I feel great the rest of the day knowing I already got my workout in.

Thats what I have been doing, but the Pm workouts are very tough. I am seeing some results now. It takes alot out of you. The AM cardio is easier.
 
Cardio is cool in the mornings and really wakes you up. The lifting in the evenings is tough and takes discipline. This is where your diet and rest schedule will really help.
 
Morning Time

I started working out in the mornings because I was just so busy during the day. At first it was hard to do it, but once you get the "waking up" part down, its all good from there. I drink a protein drink during my workout in the morning and hit the weights hard from about 5:45am till about 7:15am. I feel like working out in the morning makes my day go by a little better. It is very refreshing for me to go early. I do my cardio in the afternoon and by bedtime I'm tired and can just relax. Untill it's time to go again. I say working out in the morning is very good.

I guess it has its good and bad points. I know that you would not have the same power you would have lifting in the Pm.
 
Bro,

I just began a new job that is physically demanding after working in the office for years. I workout on weekends and wed. before work cause way too tired after. I go in at 7am for a hour or so and do back and arms. It is tough but I think it is better being fresh than after a long day of physically demanding work. U have to do what works for you. Good luck..

I do believe that everyone is confused with this poll.

I for one do 3-4 exercises per muscle group with a total of 3-4 sets per exercise excluding warm ups, this will equate to a total of 9-12 sets per muscle group.
 
yeah well your body will adapt to your job eventually i was carrying brick last summer and took nearly 2 weeks to get used to it and lifting again normally
 
Morning workout ROCK`

i have my best workouts in the morning especially because i have fulltime college. i drink coffee with milk on my way to the gym. i am busy the whole day and at night i am tired so thats why morning workout are good for me. I have awesome workouts in the morning.
