Introduction 4-29-2009

Hello all I'm sharing my journal with you because since nobody knows the long term affect I think this could help other people and maybe we can all learn from each other. A lot of you guys compete and are huge. I'm in a different category than most of you. I'm not competing I'm mostly an endurance athlete with some power. My main goal is to get shredded and gain muscle mass. I'm 34 years old and I need to recover faster from injuries to get me back on the field. I currently have a foot injury and I'm hoping to see fast recovery with IGF. My first cycle is mostly to recover form this injury and to loose the weight I have gained from not exercising. I just started doing light cardio and will be increasing my light cardio to a heavy cardio workout as ea week goes by. Since I can't run yet I"m doing a lot of cycling and stair master. Once I start my second cycle I should be running and my goal then is to gain a lot of speed and power I was running a 4.8 40 dash before I received my injury. I want to get down to 4.6 - 4.5. I hope this information will help others with there IGF questions. I recommend before jumping on IGF to do a lot of research and learn more about it.

Today is the first day of IGF. I have injected 20mcg in my right shoulder a little sore after I injected the needle. It felt like a bruise. A little y uncomfortable. One hour later I took a Spinning class and I felt good. After an hour of Spinning class I hit weights and I doubled my weight it felt pretty good. I usually do 50lbs 4 sets 30 reps one leg at a time. I was doing 110 25 reps which is a lot because I haven't worked out in 8 months. Tomorrow I will start keeping track of my calorie intake.

I"m 6 4 229 lbs I don't know my body fat % yet I will next week. As soon as I figure out how to post my pictures I will post them up.

Tomorrow I will post everything up to date. If I'm doing anything wrong with dieting, or anything else please feel free to correct or if anyone has a suggestion that would be great.

Today I injected 30mcg in the mourning in my abs around 830. I did not work out today took it off. I felt a little pain but a lot less than yesterday. It didn't bother to much in the stomach like it did yesterday and today in my shoulder. Today I had 2423 calories. My non working days 2600 is my goal. I have injected the second dose on my right side of my abs. Just a little sore not to bad.

This mourning I injected 20mcg on my right calf didn't hurt at all. I worked all day came home took a nap around 630 until 730 went to the gym and did 35 min of cardio and worked out my legs and abs with push ups. I injected 30mcg in my right calf no pain what's so ever my calf is a little sore from the injection this mourning but can hardly feel it. Today I burned about 1000 Calories working out it was a very light workout. Here are my nutrient facts for the day. I consumed 2080 Calories and I burned 879 calories from Working out. Total Calories 1201. On my working out days I need to eat more calories I didn't eat dinner just had a shake.

Just got back from my 40 mile ride 1 hour and 45 min. Don't have the calorie count yet but it should be around 2000. I injected 30mcg on the left quad this time little more pain then on the right quad. I didn't feel any pain while I was riding. Guys let me tell you the energy I had riding I felt like I have been riding for 2 months straight. I just started riding this week again after a year and I have had an injury that has kept me off the pitch for 8 months. I felt great. Not sure if I'm suppose to inject IGF before working out but it does give me an extra push energy wise. I don't know if its in my head its to early to tell but I feel great. Finished my workout with 500 sit ups and 10 sets of 30 push ups.

I'm feeling soreness on both quads like a Charlie horse. I'm getting ready to inject my 20mcg on my right calf. Today ate more Carbs than protein. I took a two hour nap feeling really good. Here are the stats for today.

Today I took off just watched TV relaxed. Took a two hour nap. I feel good. My quads are still a little sore. The left one hurt a lot more than the right one. I can say that my foot feels a lot better. I feel like I can walk normal without pain. It hasn't been a week and I feel a big difference in my foot. If I can start running soon I will be stoked.

Woke up at 5am ate a banana and injected 30mcg in my left calf for the first time. Hurt a lot more than the right calf. Riding to work this mourning. The ride is about 10-15 miles.
6:00 PM
30 mile bike ride from home to work. Going to the gym to work out my abs and push ups. Little sore from this mourning injection. Feeling good. Since I have started injecting the IGF i have been sore for 3 to 4 days after in each place I have injected myself. Calories of the day. Tonight I was not home to inject the second dose of IGF.

just wondering what the foot injury was(ie tendon,ligament, bone...). wanted to monitor your progress with recovery. thanks

I sprained my Liz franks ligaments not sure if you know what those are. They are between the bones on top of your foot. They keep the bones connected. There is another ligament at the bottom of my foot that starts in the where the arch is on your foot and it goes all the way into the calf and that caused a contusion where the big toe connects to the foot. It's kind of hard to explain. I started therapy in January and it was getting a little better but since I have been on IGF one week its been awesome the pain is pretty much gone when I walk. I haven't started running yet but I think by next week I should be on the treadmill.


Today I injected myself with 30mcg on my right shoulder a little pain not to bad. Went to the gym after work 4pm for 1 hour and 15 min. Burned 900 Calories. I worked out my biceps pretty hard for the first time in a while. I felt good not to much fatigue felt really good. Usually when I get back to working out I"m struggling and my arms get really tired. I injected the 2nd dose in the right calf no pain.

This mourning I went to spinning 6am to 7am then I worked out my legs for 40 minutes.
I burned around 2000 calories. After training I injected 30mcg in the inner right quad by the knee. No pain all day felt fine. I lost 3 lbs since day one. I'm at 226 lbs.

Still no pain on my right quad from the injections this mourning. My left calf is still very sore from the injection several days ago. Not sure if its because i did it with my left hand not my right not sure. I'm also starting to feel really tired around 2pm to 4pm. I almost fell asleep at my desk today. Then I have noticed when I'm moving around I'm fine its just when I sit down. Sometimes I will leave early from work to take a nap and then I work out. Oh I'm also starting to get a lot of gas and going to the restroom every time I eat something,and is mostly water little poop. Not sure what that means. I used to take ECA and that happened to me to so I'm not sure if that is from my metabolism working double. I don't know.

I figured out what was giving my up set stomach and it was the protein I was using. I bought it at cost co. I'm buying a new jar tomorrow.
This mourning I injected my right calf again and painless. My left quad is still sore from the other day. My left calf is still sore as well. Not sure why but my left side is always more sore than my right side. I worked out my chest today for an hour also did 600 cit ups. Right after I went to therapy did some exercise and my foot is still sore and it hurt after my drills. Still not ready to run.
Today I injected 60mcg

I injected 30mcg in my right tri a little sore but not to bad. I have noticed that my skin is becoming dryer than usual. Not sure what that could mean but you can see flakes on my skin. The day after my therapy my foot wasn't sore anymore. I ran for 15min on the tread mill my foot was fine maybe a 1 pain from 10. I felt good just a little winded. I just worked out my upper body. Tri and biceps.
My second dose of 30mcg in my right shoulder no pain what's so ever. Sleeping really well at night as soon as I put my head down I'm gone. I should be sleeping more than 8 hours but I'm only getting 7 to 6 hours.

This weekend I'm will not be injecting IGF. I have done some other research and I think its best to take off 2 days during the week. I will take this weekend off from working out. Let me my muscle recover for Monday. I will be picking up the intensity in my workout. I will try to jump on the tread mill and see how my foot reacts. I think its very important to rest your body for full recovery.
My Left tri is sore from the other day injection. By looking in the mirror I see results I see my body forming. I think resting this weekend will very good for my foot.

No injection today. Ran for 20 min felt great. No pain in my foot. Doing a light job not really a work out. 4.0 on the tread mill 3.0 incline. Worked out my abs and shoulders with some trap exercise. Tomorrow I start the IFG again.

Today I injected in my right calf little pain when the pin went in after that no pain all day. I did a class of spinning for one hour. After work went home took a nap and went to the gym . Ran for about 30min foot felt great just a little pinch but much better than last time I tried to run. After running worked out my legs heavy. Good day today feel great a lot of energy not sure if I'm going to get some sleep tonight. 2nd dose left half of 30mcg no pain what so ever. I have to be running sprints full force by June 10.

This mourning IGF to the right quad. No pain just a little sore. Did not work out until 430pm. Worked out my chest and biceps good work out. Foot feels good just a little sore from yesterday's jog. Today I took the day off on cardio giving my foot a rest. Didn't feel to tired like I did the other days. 2nd dose of 30mcg into the right side of my abs. Felt a lot of pain I don't like injecting into my abs because I'm not as ripped as I was before. I have more fat i don't feel like its getting to the muscle. I think you have to be ripped like you guys to do the abs.

This mourning right calf no pain what's so ever. Feel good during the day not so tired. Left work 330 went home took a nap for an hour. Went to the gym ran for 45min no pain in the right foot. Then worked out heavy on my legs. Burned about 750 calories. Went home recovery shake. Its been two weeks since I started IGF I only have a very little left in the first bottle can't really take anymore out without sucking air. Not sure what to do either open the bottle and just suck it out that way. I'm also going to take 40mcg twice a day and see how I feel. I have two more bottles. I'm also going to cut down on my carbs I think I'm eating to many carbs. If anybody has any suggestions that would be great. Injected 2nd dose for the day 40mcg in the left quad little blood came out must of pinched something. Just a little pain.

Took the day off today injected 40mcg in my right calf no pain. Ate less carbs today because I didn't work out. Feeling good all day. I have to weigh myself today and see if I lost a pound or more.
I injected the second left quad really sore after the injection little blood but no harm. Feels good to rest the body after working out all week. I feel good during the day.

Today I injected the right shoulder just above the biceps. No pain just soreness. Today my foot felt really good no pain. Ran 45 min at a good pace not to slow. My heart rate was very good at 160 during most of the run. I think it was going to be that low. I usually run at 160 or less to burn fat. My pace was average and it stayed around 160. That means my endurance is pretty good not yet if that is the IGF working, but I feel really good. After the work out I did a good hour circuit working out the legs light and working out my back. 2 hour work out. Foot a little sore after I'm going to rest my foot over the weekend and just work out upper body. Monday hit strong again. Legs very tight and sore. I have been told buy a couple of people that I look like I lost weight around my face, so that is pretty news. Something is working.
