Open to any opinions anyone may have or things added that you found works for you, anyways:
Morning: Mass gainer mixed w/milk, fish oil, and multi-vitamin

Pre-workout: Whey Protien mixed w/milk, zinc and magnesium 1 each, nitric oxide and creatine

Post-workout: whey protein mixed w/water (doesnt taste great but is digested to your muscles much faster than milk), 1 zinc and 1 magnesium

Night: Mass gainer and Casein mixed w/milk

That's a lot of calories from shakes...

Eat solid food I almost wasted my first cycle because I had too many calories from shakes. Now I have one only when solid food isn't readily available. Just my experience but im sure im not the only one going to say it.

There's no substitute for solid foods.... except if using insulin. My first "meal" after each insulin shot a smoothie with 8oz of apple juice, 4 strawberries, 1 banana, 1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt and 80g of whey. Then a solid meal about an hour later. I don't count these as meals though.

I need all of those calories, believe me I eat more solid calories than liquid.. I lift 5 days a week, so if i didnt intake all of those calories i would be moving backwards instead of forward, I put on 20 pounds these last 4 months and still at 6% BF. I was looking at how Ronnie Coleman was doing it and I lightened it up a little bit since im no where near his size, but im trying to put the wieght on so i can start lifting like a body builder, right now im just getting stuffed too fast and the shakes are the easiest way to get protein and calories for me

What are your meals?? I spent nearly 2 whole days with Ronnie back in 2002. I don't remember him drinking a single shake. His food stipend (he was a guest poser for a show that the nutrition store I was working for was sponsoring) was $300 a day and he used it!

Looks fine as long as your eating some which you said you are. I've taken half my calories in shake form and never noticed any bad changes in composition. So im sure youll be fine.

I saw a video and meal routine on bodybuilding.com and thought i'd try that out.. I mean ideally you would like to have 5 plus meals a day but my stomach just can't handle that, i havent seen any negativities to taking the shakes i put on much more wieght recently after starting that and still kept my BF% low.. I just dont have the time money or stomach to start eating that much at the moment.

It is hard and took me years. I started with 3 meals and then a tunafish sandwich with a protein shake in between. Then added shakes to my meals, then after years of progressing I was able to get to 5-6 good size solid meals a day along with my very large smoothies and bars in between. Like everything else it takes time.

Yea, you have to gradually get there bro...Look at those competitive eating competitors, they didn't just start eating 40+ hot dogs, you gotta work your stomach up to it. You'll get there, just add a little more every couple weeks

trying.. i know ill get there soon, its only been about a year on the juice and my appetite is a lot better.. I just gotta keep over eating til my stomach handles it.

To me kinda depends what your after. You seem to be loadin up a bucketload of calories..So for my 2 cents it would be cheaper and better, IMHO, to eat solid food , and lots of it. I don't know if it's just cause I'm old school...old!, but these new ''protein shakes\drinks seem to be way too expensive when that $$ could be spent on better supplements to get gains and keep 'em..

''Brick by Brick''

naah i know food is the way to go, but it is definetly not cheaper, the ammount of protien or calories in $60 worth of shakes is over $100 in food..

other than whey protein (and maybe an e/c/a stack when cutting and liquid aminos) i don't spend money on OTC supps.....i really feel they're more dangerous (with really no FDA restrictions) than aas....i prefer to spend my money on food, protein, and gear

It's more than that! When I cut out all shakes and was getting all my calories from food when I was dieting for my show my "nutritional expenses" literally doubled.

i feel you guys ive been spending almost 200 dollars a week for food. i go through more damn chicken breasts and eggs.

I would either mix your post workout protein with some sort of juice (apple, grapefruit, grape) or add dextrose to help replenish glucose as fast as possible after training. Replenishing glucose is the bodies first order of business and will also give a nice little insulin spike to help you better absorb macros taken in directly post work along with maybe some creatine.

Actually, I would advise to stay away from carbs for several hours post work out. It has been shown that ingesting carbs immediately PWO actually blunts insulin sensitivity which is not a good thing.

One thing that has helped me out with nutritional expenses is finding a meat market that sells pre-cooked chicken breast frozen for $34 for a 10lb box. That's saved my pocket tremendously. Plus it's easy and quick, just thaw and eat or you can heat it up if you want
