I'm sure we have all seen the pics from this, but does anyone think they will ever find a way to fully inhibit it in humans? Itd be great if/when they figure it out

they already can, but not with a drug like you and bbers would want, but they can go in and shut down ur gene, but ur fucked from there on out lol,

Please explain.

Explain what? Myostatin inhibition would basically allow a muscle to double in size hence the medical term "double muscling" I could see it getting bad if there was no way to kick it back after desired gains though

im not sure but i think beast was asking me to explain my statement of "they already can" and if thats the case, then what i meant is, we can go in now and turn off and turn on genes in humans, not all i dont believe but more and more since weve mapped the genome or somehting like that lol, but im almost 100% certain we have identified this gene in humans and have already turned it off in other animals, so thats what i mean if the question was posed towards me

^^^^this... They can completely shut down the gene. The issue then lies in some other things that myostatin does... It has a role in ligament/tendon repair, collagen regeneration... , so you can end up with somewhat brittle connective tissue... But you don't need to lift like we all have to in order to gain muscle... So, who knows, may be something feasible... They are actually doing this in parts of Europe(eastern block), and, for a hefty fee, will do it on a human..lol.

They already have some injection techniques that have shown promise, but myo-x and products of the like are a complete waste of time and more importantly money.

Myostatin exists in your body for a reason, so inhibition or gene manipulation to suppress it will always be a double edge sword. With that said, I'm still eagerly awaiting more studies and methods on it.
