We are 10 times the rate of Japan. Americans are just becoming so damn lazy. It's really sad.

The cost of calories for healthy food does not help, and over the past 4 months it has gone up by 33-50% bc of gas prices, so it's a struggle not to eat dollar burgers

And this is just the rate of people who are "obese". Obese in these studies generally means 30+ pounds overweight, doesn't it?

I understand eating right, but some of these people despite money could at least go out and walk to burn some calories, but it is just easier just to sit on the couch and eat chips.

i could of sworn that the U.S. was something like 40-50% now. i heard it on tv the the other day

This info appears to be from 2005 and defines the obesity rate as the percentage of the population with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 30.

The sad part is that people like pro bodybiulders are considered to be obese too

You guys should just be happy you're as tall as you are, I'm barely pushing 5'8". I hate being short, but it makes my frame look better to some degree, I would just like to be around 6 foot and I'd be thrilled, but I'm already the tallest in my family, fucking guidos
