They intentionally do not air footage or results until Christmas Eve and Day every year, but the results leak out each year from people in attendance....
Anyways, looks like Derek Poundstone set a new world Record in the Circus Dumbell Lift.
The Circus dumbell is just a gigantic dumbell, it weighs 210 pounds and has a 2" handle in the center...
You have to clean it each lift (bring it to your shoulder) and then you are allowed to push press it (standing military press where you can use your legs as well) with ONE ARM....
Yes, you must lift a 210lb dumbell above your head with one arm...
Once it is lifted, you must drop it to the ground, pick it up and do it again...
Most reps in a minute wins...
He did 11 reps with it...which is simply insane...
I know I have tried this thing repeatedly in Practice and I cannot hit it for a single rep...I can clean it, but pressing 210lbs in one arm over your head with a thick handle is much harder then most people can understand!!!!!!
