I'm thinking about incorporating some new exercises into my workouts now. I'm 9 weeks out from my contest. My thinking is that doing different exercises that my muscles aren't used to will help me hold on to more size or possibly even keep growing while I'm dieting. Or will the process of forcing the muscles and neural pathways to "learn" new movements along with the less than optimal poundages used during this learning period be counterproductive? I'm especially concerned about the loss of leg mass due to cardio.
