Pre/Intra/Post nutrition

I have been reading alot about moving a large portion 60-70% of your carbs before during and after your workout, what are your thoughts on this?
 
I have seen a lot on this as well to replenish your glycogen levels in the muscle. Curious to see how some of the vets respond to this. But I do feel that there is something to this.
 
I do this, but not intentionally. I'm usually starving after the gym so I eat probably 60% or more of my carbs then
 
before the gym i use pure carbs for energy and glygogen buildup, and after gym i use a half and half drink or meal, of carbs and protien, carbs spike ur insulin as nuknuk said thus shuttling in the protien to help build/repair the muscle.

I also think its beneficial to sip on a carb/protien drink during your workouts
 
Very good info here guys. Beneficial especially for young guys just starting out and wanting to make their bodies as anabolic as possible at all times.
 
I have a carb meal pre workout, then Amino Infusion during the workout, then post worout I have CarboSlin with some HydroWhey.

My pre workout meal, is normally a ProBlend shake with some oatmeal paks (2). This is about an hour to hour and half pre workout. Then my Pre Workout forumla, about 30 mins pre workout.
