push ups as best chest excersise ever?

good to hear that zylo. i am 46 and for 29 yrs have been doing pull, sit, pushups. 300 pullups and 300 situps a day. i now do it along with weight training and it gives the muscle hardness to it. when i'm on (always) i neber get bloated. when trying to get hard and shreaded cardio is ok but calistenics is all good. on a cycle if you eat, train and rest you can gain muscle using weights or not. if you've never done calistenics strictly without weights you'll never know if it works or not. what works for one may not work for others. those who say it doesn't work haven't strictly trained that way without lifting.
