seriously...if you're a skinny bitch ass trainer don't get in my face and tell me not to correct a 150lb kid who's using WAY too much weight and doing half reps and then slamming it down....these kid's are going to hurt themselves...and if you do have a problem with it don't be public so the whole gym hears you, because the next thing they're gonna hear is YOU hitting the floor!

Hey Jeff,
my name is *** *****. I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for 2 years now starting in ********* and transferring to your ********** location last year. I'm writing this email to report an incident with a staff member so you can get my side of what happened. First off I've got over 20 years experience in bodybuilding not only as a recreational trainer, but as a national level competitor. I've trained with several IFBB pros and a handful of other national level bodybuilding, powerlifting, fitness competitors, and college athletes. In the 1990's I worked for professional bodybuilder Quincy Roberts Elite Fitness Center in Greensboro, NC and was not only a trainer of over 500 clients, but also sold memberships for his gym. In addition I was certified in the US Army as a Master Fitness Trainer. Today there were several younger guys in your gym loading up weight that they seriously could not handle cleanly and not only were using terrible form that very well could lead to serious injury, but were also slamming weights done upon completion. I offered my years of knowledge and recommended they lower the weights and use better form. Your trainer ***** took it upon himself to interrupt me in the middle of a set to inform me that these other members were getting upset that I corrected them and said "you can't keep telling people how to lift".....which I responded "they're gonna get hurt".....his response was "what makes you an expert".....I'm no expert, but I'd say I'm definately qualified to keep someone from getting hurt which really isn't my problem, but as a gym owner it's your problem.....***** did not do this quietly as other members heard this and I did tell him to get out of my face......this would not be a problem with me, however, this is not the first time he's done this to me.....I do not get this from ANY of your other staff past or present....My membership is up on May 12th and because of this incident I'm 95% sure I will not be renewing......I understand that "fitness" centers are not ideal for serious trainers however I'm still a member and this should be of some concern to you......if you have any other questions or would like more information that I may be forgetting my cell is ********** thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
