Here it is....

6am: 12 egg whites, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup black coffe

9am: 3 skinless chicken breasts, asparagus spears, 2 slices watermelon

12pm: 2 NY steaks, broccoli, 1/2 baked potato, iced tea w/ lemon

3pm: 1 can albacore, 3 hardboiled eggs (1 whole egg and 2 egg whites), tossed leafy green spinach and romaine salad, iced tea w/ lemon, 1 orange

6pm: 2 broiled fillets of fish (orange roughy, cod, or snapper), 1 cup brown rice, salad w/ vinegar and oil, iced tea

9pm: 2 NY steaks, asparagus spears, water


*He also cuts out all condiments while dieting.

Didn't I promise it might be a bulking diet for some? :D
 
That is a dent in the old pocketbook but that looks like one hell of a days worth of eating! Great, thanks.
 
If I had time to cook all that food, I'd be on that diet, but I have to use more supplements, less food just due to time constraints/work/etc.

Jeez, I wish I could be a full time bodybuilder.

one meal hes pushing 100g of protein then another meal is only 30g of protein.
and not much more than 125g carbs.
I guess theres plenty of protein and fat there.

who knows these guy are genetic freaks. things they can do most of us cant.
 
Yeah but if his carbs are that low for his size he has to be taking flax oil to up his fat and calories a little. I did not really see that much fat in his diet.
 
Oops I didn't see those 2 extra ny strips before bed! Looks like a 50/30/20% pro/carbs/fat diet. That is what I am getting ready to start. But I don't have that much meat added. Sounds about right I believe he competes at 215lbs. I will come in around 190 so my protein and calorie intake is less. My diet will consist of 315 grams protein, 125 grams of carbs and 75 grams of fat(mostly from flaxseed oil) 75 grams of the carbs will come from celltech post workout so that does not leave much else on the carbs. A lot of greens and roughage.
 
the steaks and fish fillets is probably the most difficult part of that diet, both of which can just be substituted for more chicken
 
I know this thread is like 12 or 13 years old, but i found it digging through google, and I am curious how many younger guys today even know who Shawn Ray is or ever heard his name lmao!

I would honestly like to know that!

i know this is an old post.. but it actually does make sense. its not optimal in my eyes but technically it isn't wrong.. think about the digestion times of the two meals he has before...
