Shoulder trouble

So im about a month into my wrestling season and there is something wrong with my shoulder. Halfway through my full go matches I get a shooting pain from my left shoulder to my elbow and my arm gets very weak. Furthermore it begins to spasm violently, and is accompanied with constant nagging pain. I suspect biceps tendonnitis and maybe a pinched nerve. I have been rehabing (ice, ibuprofen, stem, ultrasound, and a lifting program) but it is not getting any better. Is it time for an MRI? Has anyone else experienced symptoms like this, and if so what have you done?

rotator cuff~inpingement hold your arm in a transverse plane . SITS~supraspinatus, infraspinatus ,teres minor, and scapularis. if those muscles are torn the only way for them to heal is surgery if there bruised it has to just heal. the location and use of those musccles make it tough to rest because of upper body combination of other muscles.

I'd get it checked out by someone whos experienced with sports injurys (not your
reg. doc.) I blew out my shoulder once and couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder.
For me it was just TIME. Had to let it heal - kept trying to use it too soon and it
took a long time to heal. Let us know - it helps us with more knowledge.

You should def get this checked by a doctor. I would have to say its most likely a musculocutaneous nerve. That nerve runs right under your bicep and from your shoulder all the way down to your forearm. If pinched the pain would radiate up and down the length of the nerve making any kind of contraction very painful. Just keep icing and taking anti-inflamatory pills i.e. ibuprofen and make sure you are stretching the muscles in your are pre and post icing. Take care bro.
