Skull crushers / nose breakers replaced

In my routine they are being replaced by pullover crushers what are ideas on this?

Will be doing them with a straight bar and transitioning from pullover to the tricep extension when the elbows get vertical
 
I did it with a e-z curl bar,buT once my training partner torn his triceps i stop it,but he did partial very bad.If you use moderate weight with strick form its a great mass builder.
 
I do all my lifts with as good form as I can , but :uhoh: the torn tricep part puts worry in my mind.
 
I'm amazed at the size of his gut in the picture on that page. Unbelievable stats.

To answer the original question, I believe the reason for doing it "pullover" style is to get a little more stretch on the triceps as you lower the weight. Either way you do it, there is a lot of stress on the elbow joints so you shouldn't try to lift too much weight too early.
