That was Claude Groulx, He tore his quadricep.

He actually tore both quads. I saw some followup recovery photos and damn the scars look horrifying. Looked like somebody tried to bone him like a chicken. :laugh:

I've seen the above photo before and no matter how many times I see it, I still cringe.

Actually I think it was Jean Pierre Fux.....he was squatting 7 plates either side and just collapsed.........quick recovery though, he did this year's NOC

he probably had a prior break in the leg in the past which made
it inherently weak. Normal people dont break their legs like that.
