Hey fellas Back again, First I want to say congrats to superman on his show. If you read my other thread i did get some prov and will be starting it on Monday so hopefully that helps my problem. The other problem is cutting. I do cardio about 4 times a week in the morning, treadmill incline walking for 45 minutes.
My diet is 4 days low to no carbs one day high carbs. Supps I'm currently taking are:
Sus500
Aqua Burn
Animal Pak
LBA's
Vitargo PWO only
And caffiene PreWo

5'9, 215, 15%

I want to get my bf down about 5 more %. What do you think? Throw in more cardio or longer duration of it? Go low carbs all the time? My progress was good but has stopped, so of course I come here for the help. I'll do w/e I can to reach my goal. Thanks

cutting carbs too low, IMHO, will certaily cause your fatloss to plateau. You do need to carb cycle, but very low or no carbs shouldn't be one of those days.

I have a quick metabolism but not alot of mass, and I dont go lower than 180 carbs a day when dieting. Thats about starving to me. On high carb days, I might have up to 400+.

I'll try the running a few days a week, thanks, but what about the diet. You think the carbs are too low, I've switched this week to low to no carbs on weekdays and high carbs on the weekend.

Well, you're trying to reduce bf, right? From what I understand about losing bf via high intensity cardio is that you need a certain number of carbs to support the effort. If you go too low or no carbs on weekdays, I would think your efforts to lose bf will stall. If you don't have enough carbs, that's when your body will switch to cannibalizing your muscle to feed itself. That's why it is important to have the right number of carbs.

Damn I feel like I've been doing things wrong for a while, I understand everyone's different and different things work for different people but I'll change a few things around to see what happens.

I've run 4 marathons and countless long distance races and I've never "burnt off" muscle. what you were doing wasn't necessarily wrong bro, it takes different efforts and tactics to work and some will work for a while and then your body adapts. You have adapted to walking on the treadmill on an incline so your body doesn't need to burn fat to sustain the effort anymore, which is why you need to switch to running. You can try doing intervals, start off walking for 10 minutesto warm up and then alternate, 2 minutes hard running with 3 minutes walking. When you're running hard your Heart Rate will rise and during the easy sessions it will lower but will stay elevated higher than normal which will allow you to burn more fat than if you just ran or walked easy the whole time. Work your way up to doing 2 hard and 2 easy. You will make great gains on this.

I woudl check and see what EFA intake is...
I got MUCH better results when I was leaning out by doing 2 30 minute sessions of cardio a day and I made sure it was high intense interval cardio..

Example:
10 minutes of Treadmil
10 minutes of Recumbent Bike
10 minutes of Elipticle

I would them all back to back and I would start out slow for 2 minutes then go as fast as I could for as long as I could then slwo down till I caught my breath then do it all over again and repeat that cycle till my 10 minutes was over then move onto the next machine and repeat for all 3 machines...

I swear this made all the difference in my plan.. Infact I will start doing it again.. I've "Turned into a fat, bloated, unhealthy looking shawdow of what I used to be"..

Most of my EFA's I get from tuna and barilla pasta. I'm moving up my cardio to 5 to 6 days a week and I'll definalty try that what you suggested. I have been running a bit but damn I remeber why I always hated running in the first place lol. I did add in carbs in my first 3 meals of the day and pwo. Hopefully this will break my plateau. I plan to reach my goal at the end of December and I'll def put up some pics, since this is actually the first time I've put 100% effort into cutting. Appreciate the help.

How long is too long being on aqua burn? This is my third week and I'm up to 6 drops. I increase 1 drop every couple days or when I feel like I've gotten used to the old dosage.

you should be taking a fish oil and or flax seed supp everyday in addition for a good amount of EFA's, Omega 3 etc

i usually run it 2 weeks on 1-2 weeks off, but the ketofin (sp?) should help you be able to run it longer.
on the 1-2 week off I run e/c/a.
