T3 use up to a competition

What are your thoughts with T3 up until the day of a competition or photo shoot? T3 kills my pump, so do I want to lay off 1-2 days before?

Do you use a pyramid sceme when dealing with T3 and if so where do you want to be on the day of the shoot/ competition on this pyramid?

yes you need to ramp up and more importantly back down, and no way would i use t3 through a show or even close to a show, if i were going to use it it would be early on in my diet prep, and last dosage of t3 at least a month from my show.

I don't like t3 at all for the reasons you pointed out OP, I rather just diet down the hard way than mess with it.

My question is why? Does it have to do with the pump or retaining water? why not use it all the way up until or through a show?

Think about it.... Come straight off your gonna rebound like a mother fucker.

Continue on to your show you could look flat and deflated on stage even with carbing up. Your peak time of training will be effected. It compromises muscle mass if your not careful and that's when you need it the most.

I understand but have had pretty good success using MC igf to get a pump even when on T3 just never did it during contest prep.

well using t3 is much different when your prepping for a show with the low fats and carbs, and the sodium depletion and water depletion, when you start the water depletion and carb loading right before the show, the t3 could have an adverse effect and bloat the hell out of you, along with you havening an awful hard time pumping up.

But if you have dieted hard like you were getting ready for a show and have run t3 throughout, and already know exactly how your body responds, then sure run it through the show, but if you havent made a dry run so to speak to see and record how your body responds, then no way on Gods green earth I would jeapordize 12 weeks of grueling show preperation with the possibility of t3 back lash.

So for me, especially knowing how hard it is to prep for a show not just physically but also mentally , I would have to make at least 2 dry runs with t3 , and see if i was able to dial it in for a show! Im talking writing it down in a journal, which is what i always did, from the time i woke up until i went to bed, i would record every drop of water i drank, every gram of fat, protein and carbs, and i would record not just what i consumed but also how my body reacted, so i knew what worked and what didnt.

Thats the only way i would do it brutha, this way you can duplicate your successes down to everything you put in you and the exact time after each of how you looked.

I know this might sound anal, but for me when i competed, i was there to win and look my absolute best, and nothing i did before my show preps was ever anything new as i had always made dry runs with the exception of one thing which was i once changed my morning breakfast the morning of the show , and instead ate a flank steak lol, only cause someone I trusted told me to, lol, i dont think it made a difference for the better or worse in all honesty, but aside from that, i did everything the same as before

Experienced competitors are saying no. And we made the reasons are pretty clear.

You can ultimately do what you want though.

Apreciate the help..........I was just trying to figure out why experienced competators didn't like. I tend to have zero bloat on T3 which is why it didn't make sence to me............than again I never ran it before a contest. Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Thanks guys for all your help!!

For me my concern isn't so much the bloat, it's always the concern of looking flat.

Care to elaborate?[/QUOTE

Please tell me you understand t-3 effects muscle and fat the same way? So if your calories and body fat % is low leading up to show time guess what will happen? I would bring up Cytadren for the last week or less but that will open a whole new can of worms.

Why would you use cytadren, isn't it a weaker version of arimidex. FYI I am using arimidex and nolva already, to get rid of the estrogen bloat.................Your confusing me costanza:p

Usually before a show a good way to get rid of the bloat is letro.

Cut your test prop 7 days out, proceed with letro and crash your estrogen. Also dyazide is a good one to push out that last bit of water.

Idk much about cytraden. Can't help there.
