well using t3 is much different when your prepping for a show with the low fats and carbs, and the sodium depletion and water depletion, when you start the water depletion and carb loading right before the show, the t3 could have an adverse effect and bloat the hell out of you, along with you havening an awful hard time pumping up.
But if you have dieted hard like you were getting ready for a show and have run t3 throughout, and already know exactly how your body responds, then sure run it through the show, but if you havent made a dry run so to speak to see and record how your body responds, then no way on Gods green earth I would jeapordize 12 weeks of grueling show preperation with the possibility of t3 back lash.
So for me, especially knowing how hard it is to prep for a show not just physically but also mentally , I would have to make at least 2 dry runs with t3 , and see if i was able to dial it in for a show! Im talking writing it down in a journal, which is what i always did, from the time i woke up until i went to bed, i would record every drop of water i drank, every gram of fat, protein and carbs, and i would record not just what i consumed but also how my body reacted, so i knew what worked and what didnt.
Thats the only way i would do it brutha, this way you can duplicate your successes down to everything you put in you and the exact time after each of how you looked.
I know this might sound anal, but for me when i competed, i was there to win and look my absolute best, and nothing i did before my show preps was ever anything new as i had always made dry runs with the exception of one thing which was i once changed my morning breakfast the morning of the show , and instead ate a flank steak lol, only cause someone I trusted told me to, lol, i dont think it made a difference for the better or worse in all honesty, but aside from that, i did everything the same as before
