My gym used to be open on Christmas, but their not open this year. I'm so badly wanting to get in a session, but now I just get to sit around and eat some more. I'm just glad the holidays are over and I can get my head back into training and work on packing on some weight this year. I'm going to try to add a solid 10-15 pounds this year and it has to start with my diet so I hope you all have your plans and stick to them as well!!!!

I feel ya on that. Get a plan and then stick to it. The only way to grow. I am enjoying a day off with family. Will be back to the grind tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me..the only gyms open were like an hour and a half away and by the time I found this out, they were closing...

First year I believe in close to 20 years I have not worked out on Christmas...it's my tradition..and I am beyond aggravated...

I personally think it has alot to do with money and the economy...I find my gyms are closing more and more whenever they can to save on bills, especially on days they know they aren't going to get sales such as Christmas and other holidays.

That's probably got a lot to do with it. But I pay a membership and I'm not the only one who would've went so I just don't get how they can justify that shit.

They were normally only open on holidays for 4-5 hours anyway...

My gym was closed also. Thanksgiving too. Now I look at it as a day off without having a guilty conscience. lol
Good to have a day off now and then.

I used to be a member of this place called Fit for Life, now known as Fit for the Hood. Open 24 hours. The thing is the gym has gotten filthy and poorly managed. So I'm outta there. Merry Christmas to me.
