Water Intake?

How much water do you guys drink a day? I have read that you should drink at least a liter for every 50 pounds of your body weight. I have been drinking about a gallon and half to two gallons a day. And it is getting hard to do that.

And what else do you guys drink ? So you don't get brunt out on the water.
 
We buy water and I drink about 3-4 dasani waters each bottle 24oz I believe and when I'm not drinking water I drink sweet tea and gensing tea lol
 
Ive got the big water dispenser at work and we go thru about 5 of the big bottles in 2-3 weeks which is pretty much me drinking it. I keep a bottle of water in my cargo work shorts pocket pretty much all day. I drink a shit ton of water during the day, stopped drinking all soft drinks first of the year but that damn sweet tea is my downfall. I need to keep up one day with how much water I actually do drink.

I drink probably close to a gallon of water a day. I may have a cup of coffee in the am and a Coke Zero in the evening/afternoon but not always.

If I go out to eat I may get an unsweet tea, but I do not eat out very often.
 
I think 1 liter for every 50 lbs is a good benchmark. I shoot for 6-8 liters a day and I notice under 4 liters a day I have headaches and cramps. I don't count 1-2 liter I drink during wo as I think it just compensates for water I sweat out, so no net gains for body.
I think for body builders anything over a gallon is good. But then this is not to factor in your climate Where you live your job, coke addiction ;p etc

I feel the same way if I don't drink enough water. I start cramping too.
 
Ive heard that your water intake should be at least half your body weight in ounces. As for me I try to finish a gallon a day. I usually only make it to a little more than 3 quarters on an average day.
 
I'm probably close to 1 1/2 gallons a day most days. I live in Fl and I sweat like a pig. Pretty nasty. I can't drink caffeine other than preworkout so I drink only water
