What do you wear when you train?

I use to train in tank top and tights in my early 20's and then closer to my 30's i started wearing cargo sweat pants or shorts and tank tops, and all through my mid 30's i switched to sleeveless shirts and shorts or cargo sweats pants.

As i got older and more importantly bigger, I started to cover up more and more lol, in all honesty, i got to a point where i didn't want anyone gawking at me or talking shit, so i covered up , i mean it was still obvious but i guess it made me feel better loll

I always wear t-tops and short shorts. They are cool and I like to show off my muscles. If you don't show them off there, where are you going to show them off? Sometimes guys will try to start a conversation with me and the subject usually turns to steroids. But I just ignore them. This is one reason I work out at a gym. I look like I belong there. Most of the guys are just average, some are skinny and some are fat. One thing I have noticed, the overweight guys and gals don't seem to hang around long. You see them for a couple of months and then they disappear. And the overweight guys always wear sweat shirts and pants.

I usually wear either basketball shorts or under armor shorts and a tshirt or hoodie depending on the weather

Depends on the season and temp. Summer and warm weather, shorts and a t shirt usually, sometimes a tank top. Winter, warmup pants (unlined, NOT sweat pants) and a t shirt usually with a flannel over it or a sweatshirt until I get warmed up.

My gym is in my basement, as of about a year or so ago, maybe a little less. So I don't have to worry about most of the BS I hear most of you talking about. I'm also not all that big, although in the gyms around here I stand out. When we lived in Vegas I was just another bozo on the bus. But none of that affected what I wore. Same things as now.

I hate being hot, and hate the hot weather, so I dress as comfortably as possible. This is not to say I don't enjoy getting a good sweat going. I love it when playing hockey, but the rink is 35 or so degrees. In my home gym, I end up standing in front of the fan between sets.... I have a gym at work with a wall mounted a/c unit, and between sets I stand right in front of it!

O, so at work I wind up training in work jeans, the shirt and protective work boots...

Well, when I'm at my happy weight I wear tanks with either long legging, capri leggings or on really good days I'll wear my little'ish shorts. However I'm not quite at my happy weight (but close!) so I wear t-shirts and boring black pants.

Thanks for this! I just took a peek at the ladies clothing and I really like some of the leggings on this site! I do a lot of online shopping at the Better Bodies site (it's GASP for you guys). They have a lot of goodies there that I like. The leggings are especially great for women with muscular legs. Very flattering, but also very expensive :(
Anyone know of any other places out there more geared towards bodybuilders/muscular ppl besides the usual under armor? I love discovering new places to shop for gym clothes!

Check out wish dot com very cheap and ships from China and I have always got what I ordered.

Thanks jimbo! I took your advice and checked out the site and it almost seems too good to be true! Very cheap and shipping cost is reasonable. How's the quality of the items you purchased? I did find some leggings that I recognized to be patterned after other brands however didn't have the brand logo. As long as the items last, I don't care if it's not a popular brand.

It is hit or miss. One ex- shopped there a LOT and had an 80% success rate, I think with stuff not being crap

Pain is your friend.

I have not shopped their much but for the price I will try somethings. I dont buy anything from China unless I am ok with losing my money! Kinda like going to the Casino!
