i think that is orville burke, and i believe he was in a coma for a while. he was in the hospital and in serious troube. however i think he is recovering. anyone else no more specifics??

Word has it that he was doing a photo shoot w/ chris lund after the 2002 O and was using some insane weight (don't remember what exercise maybe skulls) and tore the tendons in both elbows. When the anesthesiologist drugged him he slipped into a coma. Last I heard he was doing okay but that was 6-8 months ago

I recall the photo-shoot w/ Chris Lund after the 2002 he injured himself.

They (Dr's) did not want to administer general anesthea (put him under) as his bp was to high and he was a very bad risk for anesthea but he choose he wanted it signed some papers that he knew he was liable and slipped into a coma dispute doctors advice of just a local anesthea.
Wonder what became of him now.
