I would definitely front load it and then you can back off the dose as you go. Often, once you get to a certain point, you only have to do one injection every two weeks.
B12 isn't steroids. They are just B12 so you can take them at your leisure whenever you feel like taking them. Then take them 100 mcg or 200 mcg; that is perfectly fine.
