I like to have a few different scents around, and I use a cologne at whim depending on how I feel that day. For example, I may feel like Hugo Boss one day or a week, but then the next day I use Eternity Summer.

B2S, do those pheromone colognes really work? I know you said you've used one.

i just spray on some ax just a little to give a scent i dont buy expensive colognes much anymore. I love armoni black code but im completely out.

Bro AZZARO CHROME is where it is at.. drives them batty.. i experimented.. I was bouncing.. and one night i wore CHROME and got 7 numbers and took a chick home, next night.. no CHROME.. Barely could get the ladies to talk to me, and I was showered and smelling decent.. just no cologne.. so.. i did the experiment 4 times.. (8 days).. All 4 days vs. Placebo.. I pulled in a total of 6 different women and i think the tally was 21numbers...

So CHROME it is for me. And on a recent tally.. it is near the tippity top of the MOST POPULAR LIST..

Another one.. if you can find.. is LACOSTE... The RED, Looks like a Hand Grenade (same reaction to it.. the girls i met up with loved it..)

and my final two slams on my scent list is None other than original NAUTICA and POLO SPORT..

I had decent success with Burberry..

As for an aphrodisiac .. it is said Vanilla or Cinnamon will drive the women mad when mixed with your particular scent you choose..

BUT I AM GOING TO INCLUDE AN ARTICLE THAT I THINK WILL HELP YOU..

<table width="300" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td align="RIGHT" bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="BOTTOM">chemical reactions

It's important to know that every scent or cologne smells different on every person. The way a scent takes to your body and your skin is a question of chemistry, and has to do with the chemical reaction between you and the particular fragrance. While your friend smells great in the latest Calvin Klein men's cologne, it could make you smell more like a gym locker.

With this in mind, it's always important to try cologne before purchasing it. Never assume that what smells good on everyone else will smell good on you. You would never buy a pair of shoes before trying them on, right? Well, the same goes for men's cologne.

<table width="300" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td align="RIGHT" bgcolor="#ffffff" valign="BOTTOM"> how to select a scent
</td></tr><tr><td colspan="3" bgcolor="#727272" valign="BOTTOM">

Go to the store and spray different types of cologne on a card. Do this if you intend on trying out a bunch of different ones. If you try them all on your arm, by the time you get to the fourth cologne, your arms and wrists will be drenched by the other scents. You won't get a good idea of the right fragrance unless you put each one on different cards or pieces of paper.

When the person standing in front of the men's cologne section at the department store is ready to attack you with a bottle of cologne -- ready to spritz and spray you with it -- stand back, and tell them to spray a card instead. That way your wrists remain scent-free.

Smell the different cards and evaluate which fragances you like, and which ones smell more like bug repellant. Start eliminating the ones you really don't like. After having sniffed and smelled all the cologne you are interested in -- or until you feel faint, whichever comes first -- take a breather and walk around the shopping center or outside the store for a while. According to one of my readers, if you sniff coffee between each cologne, you can get the full effect of each scent, since coffee refreshes your sense of smell. So if you're walking around the department store with a cup of Starbucks, you don't even need to take a break from sniffing.

You want to give your nose a little bit of a rest so that your sense of smell is rejuvenated before returning to the store to make your final purchase.

Once you do go back to the store to make your decision, you can test out how the cologne smells on you. At this point, you shouldn't have as many options since you won't be as bombarded by an array of scents and fragrances, after having already gone through an elimination process.

So which colognes are popular right now?

If you want to be different and create your own fragrance, you can always blend one of the above scents or one of the colognes you already own with a natural scent such as jasmine, vanilla or cinnamon. Not only will you drive women wild (vanilla and cinnamon are known to be aphrodisiacs ), but it'll also create your own personal fragrance. You can purchase these natural scents at Body Care stores such as The Body Shop.

If you're not much of the cologne type, you can always opt for aftershaves and scented soaps. These scents will probably not be as potent as actual cologne, but they will still make you smell clean and fresh.

Keep in mind that if you work in small quarters such as a small office or cubicle, you may not want to wear such strong, potent scents. Opt for a citrus or lemon-based scent, and splash on the stronger fragrances for the nights on the town.

A change in personal fragrance is a great way to update and modify your style and look. Remember that like every other change in your style, such as facial hair, a hairstyle, and designer sunglasses, make sure that your cologne matches your personality. With the perfect fragrance, you'll smell success in more ways than one.

Unforgivable is at the top of my list. Chrome is awesome too. I also really like the old CK Escape and Eternity. A girl recently got me Diesel which I have had a lot of positive comments on. For me, the smell goes away too quickly in clubs and I haven't been out in a while. Going out Thurs with some coworkers so I'm going today to look for a new shirt and maybe some cologne.

I seriously hate living without CHROME.. it's my scent.. mixed with my natty chemistry.. it invokes the primal urges of a woman to ATTACK.. it's great.. screw this whole marriage thing.. it aint for me.. I can't stay faithful with all these women hanging all over me.. and to top it off.. to have a bitch of a wife that just nags nags nags nags.. Why you going to the gym? Why you on the computer? Why all the packages? Why are you so irritable? Why'd you go to the Strip club? Who's the new whore's number in your phone? Why the texting? Why are you cooking so much food? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh.. Ok.. done venting.. lol.. phew.

Yesterday I talked with my g/f and several of my friends that are attractive girls. They all loved Aqua Di Gio and many of the older ones including Chrome. I also tried this new stuff called Caviar (sp?) And really liked it. Only 1 brought up Kenneth Cole Black, Burberry, and the new Dolce and Gibana stuff. I haven't purchsed cologne in years but in light of this I bought Aqua Di Gio, Chrome, and the Caviar (every one agreed that it smelled "delicious" on me). One thing that really surprised me was that they ALL said that regardless of what a guy looks like, if he walks by and smells really good he goes up a few points and they are WAY more receptive. I won't lie, I spent $150 in cologne and $120 on a new Salvage shirt. Gotta be lookin and smellin good!
Oliya is the cologne thing really as big a factor as my friends said???

That part on selecting a scent is very informative, but it contradicts the earlier paragraph about how a scent has to work with your chemistry. You can only find out if a scent works with you by actually spraying it on your skin. I learned about the same stuff from this awesome sales lady at Macy's a while back. She was the best saleslady there, and there was no doubt why. She would actually talk with you and get to know you. She explained to both my wife and I how the scents worked and what they put in them to get a particular smell. It was very cool. We would always go back to her, and we would try out different new scents by spraying them on our arms, and she would help by smelling it. Some scents that smelled great on the cards would either disappear (get neutralized) or they would change for the worse. Other scents became intensified. Ones that worked really well for me were Eternity, Eternity Summer, Curve, Spark (discontinued sadly), many of the different Hugo scents, CK One, and Romance. It's about time for a new one, and I've never smelled Chrome so I'll have to go try it out. I've also always wanted to try out that Pherlure so I'll get that, too.

I don't go crazy over cologne or perfume... I do love my vanilla body spray, which I wear everyday, but to answer the question... I prefer natural scent on a dude. I don't want to choke on cologne, but every so often Jon will wear something and I perk up. "Hmm, babe... what are you wearing??" lol..

I do have to say though, that Axe commercial with the chocolate guy and the ladies taking bites out of him... I can see why! Jon wears that from time to time and I have to threaten that if a chick even thinks about taking a bite out of his chocolate-scented booty, there would be a serious throwdown! :p

I'm about to grab the new Prada for men it smells amazing!!!!

D&G has a light blue for men and it smells like ass however the womens smells great on my wife it's her favorite and I actualy just bought her another bottle for valentines day

Lol, that is a great commercial! My wife doesn't really like my natural scent though I don't drench myself in cologne either--usually just enough to have a subtle scent throughout the day.

A wife should always love her husband's natural scent, no? Aren't the phermones and chemical reactions between you what makes you have that crazy, amazing explosive sex and a connection that is unmatched by any other?

You don't have to answer that, of course. I was speaking rhetorically... but still. I don't understand how your mate's natural scent can't drive a person absolutely insane. :)

very true, good point.......i love my chicks sent, i wish it were a cologne. id spray it every where. specially on my top lip LOL!!!!
