I've been on this Cpap machine for 7 months now and I'll tell you what I wish I had it 10yrs ago.. But my problem is I now can't sleep without it.. Not even nap on a couch as I watch the Heat lose to Boston.. Anyone else use one and have this issue..? It's not a bad issue except if I go camping I need a battery pack.lol..

I have to have sleep meds to but I've been trying to take them a few days a week only. I still fall asleep though but it's the habit I had from taking them.
Well fuk it got your attention.. But I'm serious .. If I don't got the sob on I can't sleep a wink.. Guess I'm the only one with sleep
Apnea . it can kill a person is all I know..

I used to have sleep apnea, but now that I'm on a better sleep schedule I have basically gotten rid of it. I've never used a cpap, but I've heard that you can get dependant on it

I spoke to a co worker and he said that he is addicted to it and doesn't even need it anymore. He says the sound is what he looks forward to hearing. It makes sense because no matter how cold (in Arizona) it gets I still have to have my ceiling fan on for the noise.
That's great he doesn't have to use it..most sleep apnea is hereditary and will never go away cause it's the piece a skin that shuts off the nose to esophagus and it relaxes and chokes people out during sleep.. Only time ive heard of someone not needing Cpap once on it is losing massive weight which makes neck less heavy on that area of throat..Ive got the genetic version so I'm married to it.. It's not very loud either ..

I'm addicted to the cpap machine too and I don't even use it, lol...It's crazy how well I sleep now that The Dude has his. I would wake up several times a night from his snoring. The only problem is when he's sleeping on his side facing me, there's a steady stream of air that hits my face. I tell him to roll over and I'm back to sleep immediately. Glad it helps you sleep bigg. I can think of worse addictions to have

Lol .. Thanks. Just think of the stream of air on your neck as he's whispering sweet nothings In your ear.. Lol. Or heck dream it's a nice summer breeze hitting your face.. .. I get the turn the hell over too as the hose chokes me out..

The air wouldn't be so bad but it hits just one spot, like the tip of my nose or one spot on my forehead. It's not like a "nice summer breeze" hitting my face, Lol
