V.I.P.
MC Logger
I'm 15 weeks out from the PCA MASS Muscle this morning, weighing in at 192 Lbs (Fasting).
The goal is to come in better than I did at the 2010 NPC Cutler Classic (pics attached), now at 57 y/o and hope to qualify for the PCA USA's that is 4 weeks later.
The USA's is a PRO/AM event and only 20 minutes from my home. https://www.officialpcausa.com/
I haven't done a prep since 2015 but was injured about mid-way through and working as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic. I'm retired now and quit drinking a little over 7 years ago which has made a world of difference in my recovery, etc.
My training has been great. I haven't trained this frequently and consistently since my years in the Military. My Strength isn't that far off from my 2010 competitions, though I have been doing less volume and using mostly "Rest-Pause" and "Windowmaker's" to close out my workouts.

I think my wife just realized how serious I am about competing this time. We went out to dinner last night and I ordered a Cod Fillet with Rice. She just came home with about $300 in groceries for just the two of us. I couldn't do this without her. She does most of the cooking, runs me through my poses, does my tan, and picks me up when I'm down. I'm sure anyone here that has competed can relate.

I'm glad you're talking about quitting. Drinking that is a huge thing to do.

That is great. It sounds like you have a very supportive wife
I definitely agree. You can't have someone who's negative living with you.

@ChuckaZulu67 bros 15 weeks out is exciting
i'm glad you joining in on this log to bring us along for the ride
we gonna be excited when you take it down

Thanks for all the props guys, I appreciate it.
I just finished crushing Leg's by doing 30 minutes of Smith Machine Squats followed by about 20 minutes of Straight Leg Dead Lifts for Hamstrings.
I do Cardio 3 days a week now and will increase the frequency as needed.
I was 190 Lbs this morning so I've increased my protein intake. For this prep I've increased TRT to 500 and added 5 of Creatine, that's it, and lots of good quality Food for growth. I'll add a multi vitamin and flax oil this weekend.
I plan to post a full set of pics in posing trunks on Saturday, June 28th. I'll be 12 weeks out at that point.

good leg day bro @ChuckaZulu67

the multi vitamin is not for you, you need cycle organ liver support brother thats n2guard

what did you eat today?

what did you eat today?
I did a Low Carb Day. I cycle throughout the week.
1) 4 whole eggs 4 whites scrambled with a Black Iced Coffee
2) 50g Protein Shake (no Carbs)
3) 6oz Grilled Chicken
4) 80g Protein PWO Shake with a Banana
5) 6oz Ground Beef
6) 50g Protein Shake (no Carbs)

Tomorrow I'll start the day off with Oatmeal and Black Iced Coffee...

I hit the wall today mid-way through my Back workout. I ended it early to avoid over training knowing Back is my favorite body part to work.
I started with Smith Machine Rows, Underhand-Grip Lat Pulldowns, and ended with Seated Cable Pulley Rows.
I'll do Light Cardio tomorrow and see how my recovery is going.
My kids are both coming home on Saturday to celebrate Father's Day with me. I'll definitely take Saturday off and pick back up on Sunday.
