I've injected prop in my shoulders and they hurt for about a day or two. Believe it or not I did the shoulder shots myself. Shoulders looked huge and felt solid. The pain is worth the gains for me. I take advil to ease the pain.

Maybe incorporating some machine exercises instead of free wieghts might be safer. All machines allow you to sit, which is what you need to do in order to put less strain on your ankle.

Sweat, and some acne. Your cholesterol also increases but you wont know that unless you take a blood test. Also, your liver enzyme count increases and that would also show up in a blood.
