Had a killer arm workout with the wife today...just slammed the weights, fast, high intensity workout...

db alt curls - 30 x10, 40 x 10, 60 x 10

Tricep pushdowns - 50 x 20, 75 x 20, 95 x 25

Cybex preacher curls - 60 x 15, 90 x 15, 110 x 15

Life Fitness Dip machine - 150 x 20, 175 x 20, 200 x 20

supersets movements
standing cable curl - 70 x 20, 90 x 20, 110 x 15
overhead cable tricep extensions - 70 x 20, 90 x 20, 110 x 20


note - this was a fast pace workout, got a huge ass pump...arms looked very full...

these pics where taken after the workout...sorry no pics of the 250lbs d.b. yet...

Hammered delts hard with the wife...did this

DB seated presses - 30 x 15, 40 x 15, 75 x 15 x 15 (short rest, slow and very controlled)
Flex machine seated laterals - 100 x 15, 120 x 15, 140 x 10 + 5 (forced reps)
Cybex Rear delt machine - 100 x 15, 110 x 15, 120 x 12 (slow and controlled)
Cable upright rows - 100 x 15, 120 x 15, 140 x 15/ dropset 100 x 10 (slow reps)
Icarian front raises - 30 x 15 x 15 (single arm raises)

fast paced workout, she go, then I go, the whole workout was about 35 mins. I was winded, after we got done. Did an extra 20 mins cardio post workout.
 
damn bro, looking realy good in those pics!!! So if u have 20 inch arms when they are cold, what do u think that equates to when they are pumped up?

well as of right now they are only 19.25 inches. im trying to get to 20 inches...im guessing they are over 20 with a pump...but I would like to have pumped 21 inch arms this year...
 
So far this week, diet has been on point, training has been killer. I've had some of my best workout in a long time, back at my old gym. Strengh is going up ! I feel like im growing, slowly but getting leaner. Its going to be a slow process. I got 21 weeks to jr.nats. Prob, kick up the diet around 12-15 weeks out (depending on conditioning) ...
 
Trained by myself today. Training partner has the flu so I was on my own. Had the wife spot me on a few things. But for the most part, it was all me...did chest today, nothing else...

Hammer incline press - 90 x 15, 180 x 15, 270 x 10, 320 x 10, 410 x 5/ dropset 360 x 4
Bodymaster incline press - 150 x 15, 200 x 15, 250 x 15, 300 x 10/ dropset 250 x 5 + partial reps (around 7-8 reps)
Dumbell flat flys - 50 x 10, 65 x 10, 65 x 10
Close grip flat press (for innner chest) machine upright press - 100 x 15, 120 x 12, 140 x 10

It was a quick fast pumping workout. I didnt feel as strong today, as I normally have been but my partner wasnt there to push me, and to motavate me. But, the pump I got today was huge. I normally wouldnt do this many sets for any bodypart, we did a hit/yates style of workout, with pump sets at the end of the workouts. But this was a nice change of pace...
 
Back workout (sunday)

Cybex pulldowns - 150 x 10, 200 x 10 - working set 230 x 15
Hammer DY rows - 90 x 10, 180 x 10 - working set 270 x 10
Hammer Pullovers - 90 x 10 - working set 180 x 12
DC seated rows - 100 x 10 - working set 150 x 10
Plate loaded shrug machine - 180 x 10 - working set 270 x 20

simple basic workout today.
 
Took the day off, due to taking the wife to the doctor office today. She has been have some horriable headache's and she is on day 9 of having one. They go from being just a nagging thing, to having to have her lay in a dark room. No pain meds have helped her, nothing seems to really help for the long term.

So im on line now, getting ready to go take her to the doctor's. If all goes well, then im going to go do arms later this afternoon, since I took the day off from work. So please pray for her, as she is getting a MRI on her brain to see what is going on. Im somewhat worried, but im trying to stay positive about the whole situation.

well they did her MRI, but we wont know the results until tommarow. They are suppose to call about blood work later tonght...

as for me, im going to go train arms tonight in my local YMCA gym..I dont feel like taking the drive up to Burlington to train at Sportworx...But, it should be a good workout anyway...Progress, has been really good the last couple weeks. Im leaning up a touch, but im growing at a very good rate. My weight is in the lower 250's range (252-255) but not near as bloated at I was around 260lbs..Im trying to work my way up to the upper 250's range before I start dieting down in a couple months...(jr.nationals)
It's 20 1/2 weeks away now, so its already getting closer to prep time. Im excited for this year. I think I have things figured out on my diet...Im going to have to go back to keto style more this year, to achieve the conditioing Im use to having. I think I have more thickness, and size...Going to change up training alittle bit to get more roundness...more pumping stuff, more reps...
 
good news - sarah has horriable sinus infection...so she is on antibolics and is back on her way to training and dieting again...Grace is now sick with some virus thing going around school...uuuggghhhh, if it's not one it another...

good news training has been good...did arms on tues, and delts wends...great pump, killer workouts...diet has been ok, not horriable, but not totally clean. Im eating alot and that is the goal...
 
Great workouts over the weekend...

did chest, and bicep on saturday morning, did quads and hams in the evening.

back and traps on sunday morning...Yes, I was very sore today...

Good to hear your wife is fine brutha! We always get sick here from my wife being a teacher and getting sick from the kids, so i feel ya!

20 weeks to go brutha!! it will be here before ya know it!!
 
ok things are starting to get back to normal...

did delts and triceps today...(im finally starting to recover from this past weekend)

smythe front presses - 290lbs x 8, dropped to 230lbs x 10 reps
flex seated laterals - 150 (the whole stack) x 21 reps (and yes slow and controlled reps)
Bodymaster rear delt machine - 140 x 12 (im just weak on this ... I dont know why, I just am)
shrugs D.B. - 120lbs x 21 reps

Cable overhead tricep extensions - 100 x 15 reps (main set)
Rope pushdowns - 80 x 20 reps (main set)

note - Im only counting my working sets to failure, I usually do 2-3 warm up sets of 15 reps, 10 reps, then 5 reps to get the feel of the movement.
 
Just Quads today with the wife...

Nebula leg press - 580 x 15, 760 x 15, 950 x 20, 1040 x 20 (note, last two sets was working sets close to failure)
90" leg press - 270 x 20, 360 x 20, 450 x 20 (fast pace, quick sets, huge pumps)
Lung machine - 90 each leg x 15 x 15 x 15 (right leg, then left leg, hold at the top of the movement)
leg extensions - 80 x 20, 100 x 20 x 20

thats it, it was only a 45-50 min workout, very fast pace, good pumping workout. totally differnt then when I train with the guys...
