i know i don't post a lot of meals or other things. i'm mostly just trying to maintain right now.
tonight's meal consist of a dish with strips of steak (fat cut off) cooked in butter Worcestershire sauce,
& garlic powder, with onion, sauteed mushrooms (cooked in butter, salt, and garlic powder), mozzarella
cheese melted in. the other pan is asparagus cooked in butter, salt, & garlic. the steak is put on bread
with mayonnaise. and lastly milk. yes, i use real butter and cook in cast iron or stainless steel. i hate
using plastic or coated pots/pans. just giving my own recipe so if anyone may like to try it.
@pgb bro you one of my people

@pgb Always cool to see a nice recipe put together.
Everybody should be cooking their own meals
there's absolutely no reason to ever get takeout or a restaurant.

currently my training sucks brother. i'm so busy trying to update this house. it's ridiculous the wiring in this place. i'm putting in a water filtration system right now. hope i've made my last trip to lowes so i can get it done. of course running after my two great granddaughters is a bit, but it's really not enough to call a workout. lol

@pgb how about we get basic training at home
like 100 push ups
100 squats
100 sit ups
2 min planks
can start 50 each, you game?

that might be asking a bit much for me brother. i'll need to work up to the 50 first. lol. situps not recommended with pinched nerve in lumbar. i do workout, it's just that my time is so divided these days. i'm not opposed to working at it. especially my stamina. i'll be having surgery soon, so that'll put a damper on workouts. i won't be able to lift more then 5-8 lbs. i'll have to do rehab and not be able to drive for at least three weeks. hopefully, i'll be able to quit using fentanyl for pain relief. i think that'll help a lot with fatique and general well being. still hanging in there, but i'll need to recuperate.

you can start slow bro go with 20 with sets of 5 even then
even knee push ups, dont give up on the body even pre surgery you want to get into the thick of things @pgb

well boys and girls, it's been a few days since i last posted. as usual, quite dang busy. i bought another house in the country to get away from the city smells and complications cauised by the constant influx of chemical coming in. so been moving, mostly on my own. haven't been getting workouts in like i'd like, but if you count heavy labor in moving, i'm doing at least that much. things such as refrigerator, freezer, safe, all woofd dressers and chest of drawers, tool chest with tools in them, and so forth. i have managed to get my rack up in the garage and started working on doing pullups again. weather has gotten cold, but still doing it. need to clean my heater. have work to do on the new house as well that i didn't see before buying, because it was covered up.
currently am still doing my own trt. the pip has went down considerably since i removed all meds except those i really need right now. i didn't get the surgery yet due to one of the meds making me bleed again. i bled so much that i almost needed a transfusion. literally. my red blood count was down to 7.3. normal is like 13 to 19. so now i'm waiting for blood counts to come back up, because they don't transfuse above 7.0. no wonder i was so exhausted.

my current regimen for trt is:
sus 250 mg/ deca 200 mg twice a week.

i think it's has been about the best dose for me for trt purposes.

i'm still on fentanyl patch 12mcg/hr and codeine for break through pain, which is more often with moving. i have a lot of stuff accumulated over the years. lol. need to have a yard sale sometime. went to a gym today to check if it had silver sneakers program so i can try to do leg presses. i can't do weighted squats or deadlifts with the pinched nerve. heck, just the stretch on the pullups is excruciating on my lumbar and hips.

still hanging in there and going at it. life goes on and things need to be done. my wife has been doing more of the cooking of late, since i'm moving the heavy stuff. one of the meds i was on caused me nerve damage through out my body, so dealing with that now. i'm pretty sure it was gabapentin which was to stop nerve pain. it helped at first then i got a slew of bad side effects, including nerve pain. so be careful what meds the doctors give you.

thanks for listening. you all keep pressing on and hang in there as well.

@pgb Good update and strong attitude pushing through all that even with the move and the low red-cell hit, you’re doing a lot more work than a gym session with that kind of heavy labor bro

Once your counts come back up and you stabilise that sus 250 and 200 deca combo will feel smoother, but keep logging because with the nerve issues and meds in the mix we need to see how your strength and energy trend week to week.

@pgb good to have you back man and thanks for the update on this. Seems like you've had a lot of stuff going on. The important thing is that you're okay.
