Well im 8 months in to my offseason with another 4-5 months to go, and to be honest with ya, im almost ready to start dieting. I have been eating, and eating, then eating some more to get my weight up to 275lbs...food has been the key...lots of food, hard training is the key...lots of rest to...But, man im just stuffing myself daily and it gets kinda old...sundays, I back off a bit, have only 4-5 meals that day, and keep it to lighter foods, and not dense stuff...shakes, egg whites, ect...im just so tired of eating, and eating that I feel full all the time...but it is the key to growth...that is for sure..younger guys always want some secret, some secret drug, or supplement...but its just food...and lots of it...

for the next phase i still want to get over 280lbs and stay there...I would like to get there by nov. so I have a good 2-3 months to make it more dense before I start my prep in late jan. 2013. I think if I can do that, I can be 235-240lbs on stage next year. that will be a big differnce to the last time I competed....

I know how you feel. I've gone to entirely food except my post workout shake and I don't know how much longer I can do it. I'm going to look into replacing at least one of my meals with a shake. I also think I'm ingesting too much sodium. I have headaches almost everyday
 
So what are you guys eating?? I watched John Meadows shopping and I know what the basics are but I need to stop shopping at Costco bc they dont have much variety. I think when growing, (fast metabolism), you need calories, mostly good but some bad. Agree??

ectomorphs like yourself need more calories in general. When i work with ectos, i usually tell them eat one bad meal daily within reason. Reason meaning about 5-600 calories. Not the bloomin onion from outback at 2200 calories. It helps to slow down digestion and maintain weight

for instance, eat more red meat at a meal. Eat double the salmon. Eat double the whole wheat pasta...have 3 slices of pizza...get my drift

Honestly guys, try AnaMASS, high quality calories that are CLEAN and will aid you in reaching your goals. Not being a salesman, simply giving you a way to get 500+ clean calories in a liquid

I agree about the calories and beef. For one, I need to find a butcher or someplace to get beef at better prices and cook it reguarley. The ground beef is getting old. I do eat some junk here and there and force myself to do it but I try to get my protein/carbs in clean first then make up the diff with other calories. Id love to hear how chris/Nuk/Dude are getting there beef and how they prepare it.
