So anyone ever a muscle and didn't even feel it or even bother you? It is the right in the middle where it makes that V . Midway of the V it's a big knot! Grrr. Wtf no pain or anything I guess it tore and healed up? Nothing realy I can do from here I guess.
 
Yes I tore my hamstring once and didn't know it was torn til my wife asked wtf happened and I looked in mirror and my entire hammy was purple and black like I got hit by a truck, it blew my mind but can't recall which exercise it tore on as I didn't feel shit and it didn't hurt either but the purple bruising went from the back of my knee all the way up to my ass cheek. Weird
 
I tore my rotator cuff for the second time recently, no pain at all just went week instantly. I only suspected it was torn because it happened one time before.
 
I tore my bicep before but knew it right away and I bruised badly all over the inside of my bicep then it ran all the way down to my wrist.
 
My tear hurt like a bastard and swole up quick. After 3 days it started turning colors.

I tore my quad once doing squats. I knew it was torn because i heard the muscle rip apart. It immediately got red from the blood vessels being torn open. It was sore to touch but nothing crazy and i could walk okay. However, when i tried walking up any stairs, i would be in tears (figure of speech). I was lucky and it didn't tear all the way to the bone, so i didn't need surgery. I torn and Achilles tendon last summer diving of a dock into a lake. Again, i was very lucky. Both incidents took about 6 weeks to heal. Trust me, you will know it if you ever tear a muscle.

Achillies tears always make me cringe when I hear of them ! It just seems like such a fragile yet important part of your foot
 
Update the quad tare was inner muscle tare lost 10% but its muscle so they can not reattached it . Muscle to muscle. So no surgery. But have a crazy knot for a couple months. Till the muscle just getting blood flow to it
 
Be very careful if you have no pain! My quad popped when I was doing leg presses and was very sore but no bruising or not, so I have watched what I would do around the injury and it is healing well.

can you see the knot, or is it only there by touch/feel?

This same thing happened to me last Monday! Upper outer quad... leg presses too. I had to use my hands to get it back up which was kinda embarrassing because I was training with some chicks and got a good spank to the ego as a result LMAO

lmao, now that does suck! we've all been there brutha, hell I've farted on the leg press next to a hot chick doing calf raises, so fuck it
 
To top it off, I woke up with a bruised bicep today lol no pain though... And yesterday was back and bi's so isn't this all kind of ironic? Great work out though. :rolleyes:
 
I tore my ligaments in my bicep and I heard it tear but it did not hurt that much. But it turned black and blue and hurt later on...
