ephedrine false positive?

I take a 10 panel drug test for probation every month, and have seen that ephedrine will show up as a false positive. Has anyone run into this problem before? I was worried once about taking nyquil once that was supposed to show false positive but they were able to distinguish the results, and had no problems.

its doesnt show up as anything bro, not any drug including amphetamines which alot of people worry about however it DOES NOT AND WILL NOT SHOW UP AS THIS OR ANY FALSE POSITIVE, wherever you heard this from is mistaken

I have never heard of getting a false positive for ephedrine. Sounds like someone is getting meth ingredients messed up with false positive to me. I love the sig Presser who would have ever thought.

This girl tested positive on her po test and was given 48 hours to flush, and was clean. After looking at the chemical structures its easy to see where someone could misread a test.

After more time to research i found solid info:

A properly conducted drug test with gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy confirmation (GC/MS) would NOT report ephedrine as amphetamine.

Ephedrine does NOT metabolise to amphetamine and therefore will not be reported as amphetamine or methamphetamine on a drug test.

If the drug test is a quick one step dipstick type testing (on-site test), there are a number of things that will cause a false positive. HOWEVER, with proper confirmation these would be eliminated.

the members on bluelight or pillreports.com are mostly drug addicts brutha,lol, so im sure she had other shit in her besides ephedrine, or atleast would guess so,lol, anyways nice info in other post bro,

yea man i even tried two different syringes.. i am pushing a cc into the vial and see bubbles... this is going to be upsetting if i have to crack a bottle...

I've been piss testing left and right for over 6 years for my job and about 90% of the time I'm on either ephedrine or clen and have never failed one yet-even the dipshit tests.
