New member looking for advice

My background and current stats.
2013 I was 33 years old 5'10" 270 lbs. 32.8% bodyfat hadn't done anything fitness related since college. When I was young played sports, surfed and BMX raced lifted on a daily basis. Got married and started my career as a heavy equipment mechanic in the field all the time eating junk and kept getting bigger. Jan 2013 realized I needed a change and started doing Billy's bootcamp, after completing got my weight down to 225lbs. In April started P90X which helped me gain strength and further reduce my weight to 215lbs. August I started insanity and lost around another 10 lbs. Jan 2014 I began to really change my diet, started lifting in the morning 5x a week and doing insanity or running sprints in the evenings 5x a week as well. Was able to reduce my weight to 180lbs BF% around 14%. I have consistently been lifting since my weight has fluctuated with my diet. Currently I am 36 5'10" 190lbs around 16-17% BF still trying to cut down, lifting 5x a week, insanity max 30 4x a week, abs 2x a week. In May of 2015 I did a 10 week 250mg a week test-e with aromasin cycle. No sides or problems other than minor chest acne. Gain a little size and strength which I have kept fairly well with consistent lifting. My diet is on point eating around 200grams of protein, 150grams of healthy carbs, and 50 grams of healthy fats. I would like to start my second cycle to gain lean mass to gain size then cut towards the end to reduce BF. I have test-e 250mg per 1m/l on hand but would like to add a good anabolic and pct to the mix. I was going to run the test t 400mg per week pin mon & thur taking AI along side for 12 weeks, PCT was going to run Nolva and Clomid. What other compound would you guys suggest to help me achieve my goal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated I have done a lot of research there is just so much information out there.

welcome to MC and Congratz on the major improvements in the last 3 years!

as for your 2nd cycle, the testosterone is a solid choice as always a good base steroid to use when stacking, so maybe your other compound can be something like deca , i would suggest tren ace, as youll gain muscle and strength while cutting fat as its pretty thermogenic in and of itself especially combined with testosterone enanthate but, since your running long ester test i would say thats why i suggest deca, and maybe save the tren for your 3rd cycle!

what steroid were you leaning towards to stack with your test enanthate
 
I was considering tren but saw it wasn't best to pair with test e so was thinking Anavar from week 6-12. I know people who have had great experiences with it and others where they didn't see much at all so makes me weary of it.

tren goes well with any testosterone ester even enanthate, but being your 2nd cycle yeah anavar is a solid choice at 60-80mgs daily, so its going to take a lot of anavar to really feel and see gains with your testosterone. you could get away with 40mg anavar daily since your going a full 6 weeks with it til end of cycle, but if you can afford to do 60-80mgs i highly suggest it
 
Thank you I was thinking between 50-60mg of anavar per day which I should run right up to my PCT correct? As far as an AI I used Aromasin in the past but am having a harder time getting my hands on it this time are there any others you would recommend as a solid choice?
 
Damn man.. that P90x and that Insanity stuff is pretty intense. I'm being serious.. that sounded sarcastic.. I'm really being serious.. so that's awesome that you are so dedicated. I have to agree with Presser's original recommendation. Nothing touches Tren. It's very unique and pretty awesome. I would strongly recommend maybe 200mg a week of tren. It will be alot cheaper and ALOT more effective. Just lay off the Insanity and those type things. Your strength will sky rocket and your tendons may not be able to keep up
 
Outside of the gear I'd probably look at eating more as well if you're not already. It's gonna be hard to grow consuming under 2,000 cals a day especially with how much you're doing for exercise

What would be a good beginner length and dosage of tren ace if I decided to go with it? I had looked at Deca but tend to be water retention prone even drinking 1 1/2-2 gallons a day other than protein shakes water is literally all I drink because I drink so much.

A lot of people don't see anything with Anavar because it's faked a lot these days. A good beginner dose of tren ace would be 25mg EOD and if you like the way it feels then look at bumping it to 50 mg EOD. Shoot for 8 weeks with Tren Ace but don't be pissed if you can't run it that long because it starts to wear on you fast.
 
I appreciate all the input from you guys it is definitely helping me make a more educated decision. I don't want to rush into a cycle without exploring what will be the best option for my goals. Presser I saw a cycle write up you did last night and sent you a message about it to get your opinion on it. Again thank you guys this forum has been incredible so far I am happy I stumbled across it.
