OK guys I know im suppose to start a log on my prep for master Nats. But, I just havnt gotten a good chance to really put in the effort yet. I think its because, im still 27 weeks out as of Saturday, Jan 12th. So I still feel like im in offseason mode, just the final phase of it. Mike Ross, is putting together a training program for me to improve certain area's. We are going to do some wave cycling (I think that is the right term). Basically, we are just going to cycle different phases of training. I got a new training partner to. His name is Zach and he is a young pup. 19 years old, but full of energy, and ready to take on the world. He is doing the state show here in April, and is a good fit for me. I think, I just needed a younger person, to push me harder, and get me in the right mindset.
Diet as of now is clean, with lots of protein and carbs. Trying to keep fats a tad lower than normal, just to see how my body responds. I think it has been harder to keep me full enough, I feel like im going flat faster than normal. So I have continued to increase my carb intake, a little each week. Today, I felt pretty beat post workout so I have increase my carb intake all day, and will continue it tommarow. Then Sunday, go back to my normal amount.
