I have always naturally gotten really good pumps during my workouts, so I have not noticed a ton of diffrence there but I am also applying subQ so that could be part of the fact that I am not experiencing anything diffrent in that department (yet).
Where I have noticed a HUGE difference is with regards to my recent injury recovery, that I almost have to attribute to the MC IGF. Two areas of significant positive results... I recently had some major ligament issues due to an injury that occured during a rugby game. I was slated to be in a cast for a couple months. I was in the cast for a few weeks and then started the IGF as I was still hitting the gym the best I could. Within a week after starting the IGF, I was out of the cast and walking with almost no notice of pain in the affected area. It was jaw dropping. The doctor almost $hit himself with how fast it seems I am recovering adn the fact that I dithced the new brace he gave me after only one day. So far so good.
Second, I have had minimal injury issues over the 20+ years I have been lifting. However, recently while benching everything was fine. I threw on 405 which is about the end of the road for me on bench and felt a sharp pull in my pec/shoulder than ran into the area around my armpit. No pain with other lifts until I got into the 400lb range on bench then I would feel varying degrees of tightness and pulling (likely a tendon I suspect). I tried massage, ultrasound, no bench for a while/rest, etc. Nothing was working. It would start to feel a bit better and then I would add weight on bench and it would come back. This never had a huge effect on the weight I was able to handle, but was more of a nagging injury that would not go away.
Jut prior to starting the MC IGF I told myself that this was not going to go away and that I was going to have to deal with it and power through. Keep in mind this was nagging for over approximately 6 months. Fast forward a couple days and I start the MC IGF. The very next day I benched I noticed the pain in the affected area was faint and barely noticable. I of course, just attributed it to a good day, maybe a more effective warmup or progression to the 400 lb territory. For the past two chest days I have NOT noticed or felt ANYTHING in the affected area. It wasnt until I was home and reflected on my workout that it dawned on me that I had no pain while benching.
I am always a bit of a pessimst, but I have to admit, it seems a bit of a miracle from a healing perspective. If I never got anything else from this, (though I do expect to see slow steady gains), I would be happy with just the additional healing properties that I have gotten so far.
Just thought I would share.
