I am starting with a new coach that seems to align more with my values and training philosophies. So far bloodwork is coming back good just waiting on a few more things and will probably continue my health phase on for a little bit. But feeling good and feeling strong. Hit 3 plates for 9 on incline bench yesterday and got a little excited and went up to 365 and only got 4 after. Well 3 1/2 reps😂 but feeling good and feeling healthy. Walking pad also came in so getting fasted cardio in daily again which is nice. Sleep also bounced back hard. Was dealing with some slight sleep issues but now I get home from work and I’m passed out in 30 minutes

getting back to everyday logging now that the busy holiday season is over. Bodyweight is sitting around 240-245 in the morning. Bloodwork mostly came back perfect just waiting on a few things lipids came back pretty perfect which was my biggest focus since my last bloodwork. We are recomping currently. Calories are 3500-3700 on training days and 3200 on rest days. Macros are protein 220 carbs 550 fats 50. And cycle is as follows

will you share the difference in training philosophy?
Of course, I’m a big fan of multiple sets at the same weight and trying to rep match on my heavier compound lifts and on my accessories lifts I enjoy doing more of a top set and a back down set where I focus on the angles and the squeeze. Also diet wise I felt like I needed more carbs around training and I didn’t want to necessarily bulk hard and fast but I wanted to hit the rebound and then recomp throughout my offseason maybe pushing up 10 or so more pounds so around 250-255 I’d like to stop the “bulk” and my new coach listened to what I had to say. Gave me his 2¢ on the matter and we compromised and found a plan that works.
 
since dropping mast I’ve gained around 8lbs which I’m assuming is water weight, I’m feeling nice and full in the gym (maybe even a lil fat tbh) but strength is creeping up nicely and able to push harder in the gym.

Had shoulders and arms yesterday and hit legs today. I haven’t had a solid shoulder and arm day in forever. Mostly would just hit them on my other days throughout the week. Legs today was awesome. Was pushing weight that I was pushing with wraps and knee sleeves a couple months ago easier without any of those. So morning weight has jumped up to 250 but I think that’ll go down within the week. We will see! Super excited to start growing!
