What’s good my guys tuesdays are always big days for me bc it’s check in day and it’s push day (who doesn’t love a solid push workout). Got a few updates for everyone. Doing another dose of .5 anastrozole tonight and will monitor weight/symptoms over the next 3 days and if things don’t clear up another .5 Friday. Taking things slow bc we don’t want to bottom my estrogen out or lower it too much as that causes its own set of issues and can be hard to recover from. Dropping test from 80mgs EOD to 60mgs EOD. Also dropping gh for the week to see if the water retention gets any better off of it. So some pretty big changes for this week’s experiment in figuring out the puzzle that is hormone balance. Today’s workout was a big success, I actually felt motivated today and crushed some of my lifts! Feels good I hope this feeling sticks around.

Today’s workout:

Day 2 push
  • prime lateral raise 3x10-15@140 14/12/12

What’s good gym fam it’s Wednesday and my last session before a midweek rest day to reset the body. Today is pull day and it’s a day I look forward to and dread at the same time, all the iso work is brutal! And it takes a bit more time since I’m doing one side at a time on most exercises but no excuses we got it done! Took my first dose of .5 anastrozole for the week and wool up this morning down 2 pounds weighing in at 197.9 this morning so some of that water weight is off already, will continue to monitor over the next couple days to see any fluctuations. Skipped fasted cardio this morning bc I was far too exhausted to get up in time so I hit cardio after the workout instead. Today went great once I got going but my motivation wasn’t quite there today so it was a rough start. Still got a solid workout in and did the damn thang.

Today’s workout:

Day 3 pull
  • Nautilus sa lat pull 2x8-12@80 12/12
  • Chest supported T bar row 3x8-12@125 11/11/9
  • Hammer strength sa high row (lat bias) 3x10-15@135 12/12/10
  • Sa cable pullover 2x12-20@90 18/14
  • Db preacher curl 3x10-15@30 13/11/10
  • Sa cable curl 3x10-15@45 12/12/12

What is up my dudes happy Friday to us all we made it through the week! Todays a great day got some ot money in today it’s finally not raining here for once and the suns out and it’s officially the weekend. Today I have push/legs and it’s one of my favorite days to hit bc of that full body pump I get from it. The .5 mg anastrozole/no hgh combo has definitely had an effect as I’m now down 4 pounds from the start of it, down to 196 on the dot today which does feel nice bc I was putting weight on much too fast so we’ll see what happens from here moving forward. Edema still present in ankles so still monitoring that and gonna check the difference of morning vs night tomorrow. Felt pretty good during my workout today even though I needed an extra push to get started. The fatigue is still there but I did manage to only take one nap today at work in secret which was better than the rest of the week lol. Knee pain is better but not 100% so still holding back working about 80% effort on the leg extensions.
Todays workout:

Day 5 push/leg
  • Leg ext 3 10-15@200 12/12/12
  • Sl leg press 2x10-15@200,250 15/15
  • Lying ham curl 2x8-12@150 12/10
  • Prime lateral raise 3x10-15@145 14/12/10

  • USP cialis 20mg daily
  • 80mg Telmisartan daily

Let’s get it my boys last lift of the week today so let’s get into it! No fasted cardio this morning still taking me awhile to fully wake up for the day so I hit cardio after the workout which is a nice change of pace but also comes with its own challenges bc I’m ready to go home after killing a lift day and gotta do cardio after instead but it’s gotta get done one way or another and I made my decision this morning. Steps for the day will likely be down though as I still haven’t gotten a new step mill for the house since my other one broke last week. To make up for that I went for 30 minutes of cardio instead of the scheduled 20 minutes. Weight was down a bit again today weighing in at 193.9! Dropping this water weight finally makes me feel a lot better about my weight mentally. Still a fat boy in my head so seeing the scale climb too high too fast makes the body dysmorphia kick into high gear. Today’s pull workout went great and I wasn’t as strong as previous days this week but still made some PRs on a couple lifts. That’s one thing that’s been great about the scale climbing is that my strength has been improving every week which def makes the lifts more rewarding and challenging at the same time. I was pretty slow to start today and wasn’t highly motivated to get after it but once I get a few sets in I got going. Still continuing the no hgh at least until next check in with coach Tuesday.

Todays workout:

Day 6 pull
  • Nautilus sa lat pull down 4x10-15@80 12/12/12/10
  • Chest supported t bar row 3x8-12@115,115,100 11/9/10
  • Single arm cable row lat bias 2x8-12@80 12/12
  • Pulldown upper back focused 2x12-20@180 17/10
  • Rev pec Dec 3x10-15@110 14/12/11
  • Db hammer curl 2x10-15@40 12/10
  • Db preacher curl 2x10-15@30 10/10

Nice T-bar rows bro that'll give you that good back pump!

Still continuing the no hgh at least until next check in with coach Tuesday.
What was the strategy in cutting this out, I'm curious and always learning.

What’s good my gym peoples it’s Monday starting a new week and we’re back on the grind. Yesterday’s rest day was glorious I definitely needed the break to reset and recover from the weeks brutal workouts I put myself through. Still moving forward with the no hgh at least until tomorrow’s check in with coach and we’ll reassess things from there. Water weight came back with a vengeance the last two days and I’m back to 202 again so we implemented another dose of .5 anastrozole tonight and see if it goes back down again, pretty weird that it’s fluctuating so much especially when I’ve had my diet pretty locked in. Decided moving forward until I feel back to my normal self energy wise I will be hitting cardio after work after I’ve had all day to wake up and a workout getting my blood pumping bc I just can’t do mornings rn getting up at 4 am just feels like an impossible task rn, so I’m pivoting and still getting things done. Strength has been improving each week and I’m slowly turning into an absolute unit, can’t ask for much more than that!

Today’s workout:

Day 1 legs
  • Seated leg curl 3x8-12@200 12/9/8
  • Leg extension 2x10-15@180 12/12
  • Hack squat 2x8-12@450 12/10
  • Leg press 2x12-20@450 20/15

What’s going on guys, man today was rough but the gym is therapy and who doesn’t look forward to a solid push day. Spent most of the day today dragging ass and had to fight myself to get things done but when quitting time came I was locked in for this workout. Today is check in day with coach but unfortunately as of writing this I haven’t heard from him today so he must be behind or something came up and I’ll get it late tonight or tomorrow, either way I’ll plan on updating you guys in tomorrows post. Weight was down a whole 5 lbs after last nights .5 anastrozole dose and I’m back to 197 again. This up and down yo-yoing is pretty annoying so hopefully we get a plan locked in and back on the gains train! Felt pretty solid after today’s workout and am feeling confident that when the cut comes I’m gonna be a beast, until then gonna keep on grinding away and stay locked in so I can hopefully place in my first ever show later this year (haven’t set a date or picked a show yet). Todays push day was a good one and I got a great pump and strength is steady improving if even by a few reps it’s still progress 💪🏾

Todays workout:

Day 2 push
  • prime lateral raise 3x10-15@145 12/11/10
  • Hammer strength incline 2x8-12@135 12/9
  • Db flat bench 3x8-12@105,105,100 9/8/8
  • Pec Dec 3x10-15@180 12/11/8
  • Bilateral tri ext 3x12-20@200 15/13/11
  • Sa tri pushdown 2x10-15@90 12/10
  • Rope ab crunch 3x15-30@175 30/22/20

What’s going on playas we’re at the mid week checkpoint and I’ve earned myself that rest day coming tomorrow bc I’ve killed it this week! Still dealing with the ongoing exhaustion but I’m powering through, one thing worth noting is now that I’m getting my estrogen in check my motivation to train is coming back strong which makes things a lot easier! Check in day yesterday went smooth and mainly we went over some training videos and I got some tips I’ll be implementing to improve my training and knee pain as well. Most importantly though we’re starting an ai protocol of .5 anastrozole M/W/F moving forward since I seem to be aromatizing so fast. Weighed in at 194.9 this morning so I’m down 7 lbs since Monday so I’m shedding water weight like crazy but doing so my joints feel much better and I’m far less achy and stiff all over. Happy to have figured that out and good to see my weight back down bc it climbed far too fast and I thought I was getting fat lol. Today was an epic pull day to round out the midweek before an off day tomorrow, strength was up and I got a super solid pump. Getting bigger and better day by day!

Today’s workout:

Day 3 pull
  • Nautilus sa lat pull 2x8-12@90 12/10
  • Chest supported T bar row 3x8-12@115 12/10/9
  • Hammer strength sa high row (lat bias) 3x10-15@135 12/10/10
  • Sa cable pullover 2x12-20@90 15/13
  • Db preacher curl 3x10-15@30 12/10/10
  • Sa cable curl 3x10-15@45 12/12/12

  • USP MAST P 40mg EOD
  • USP cialis 20mg daily
  • 80mg Telmisartan daily
  • .5mg anastrozole M/W/F

What’s good gangsters I’m back after a well earned break yesterday and ready to make some gains! It’s easy to get caught up in the routine and forget to live a little and I fall victim to that a lot so yesterday I spent my time off from the gym and went to see a movie with my wife and her cousin which was really nice to get out and do something that’s not bodybuilding related. Was up a bit later than I would have preferred but that’s okay every once in awhile, I was still able to get in at least 6 hours of sleep. Skipped the dinner before the movie though bc ya boys gotta stay locked in on meals 💯. Today I was slow to get up but after I got moving I wasn’t any more tired than usual and I only had a half day of work today so powering through was easy. Todays workout I was maybe a bit weaker than average but I also really focused on time under tension today and the pump which usually correlates to lower weights being used. I got a little caught up in moving heavier weights bc it’s fun lately and need to dial back into staying focused on that t.u.t. And squeeze the hell out of each rep. Was a bit hungrier today than the last few days so staying on meal plan was hard but I’m managing. My body just really wants to be a fat boy lol. Joints are feeling pretty good and less stiff after the ai protocol but my knees still bothered me a bit especially on the first set of extensions even though I was well warmed up and stretched, may start looking to use some of the bpc I have on hand to see if that helps at all. Run it by coach and get his opinion.

We got another fire sale going on over at USP check it out this weekend!!

Todays workout:

Day 5 push/leg
  • Leg ext 3 10-15@180 10/12/12

  • Bilateral tri extension 3x8-12@210 12/11/10
