trt and maintainance

been out a few days. as i've written before i have medical problems and need one surgery for certain to fuse my vertebra at l4,l5,s1. i've been scheduled twice now and it's been postponed both times. the first time was due to my heart acting up. i was in a-fib and didn't even know it. so i had three caths done. one in my wrist through the radial artery and two in my groin through the venae cavae looking for blockages and clots. needless to say i had a piece in my heart they needed to cut out, which stopped the a-fib. they put me on more meds which caused me more bad side effects than did me any good. through the course of meds they gave me i ended up with another episode of bleeding. it was a lot of blood. needless to say i took myself off those meds as well. that's fourth time they've given me meds that caused me to bleed profusely. this time it lower my red blood count so low that when i went in for testing for surgery again they canceled the surgery because of extremely low blood counts.

anyways, with the use of the meds they want me to use which cause me severe side effects, i quit taking them all except finesteride and pain meds. it took some time to clear them well enough to be able to run gear without severe pip. this is all due to the water contamination from lejuene that isn't being considered by the cmc or admiral of the navy as legitimate.

since i was able to determine why i was getting such horrible pip, i've changed my regimen for trt. the lower dose wasn't as favorable to my wellbeing, so i've increased it top what i was using. i don't think it has put me over the high limit, but it might be close.

my current dosage is 200mg deca/250mg sus x2/wk. been pinning lats of late, since quads and glutes were being more painful. that may have been due to all the meds the va kept trying on me that did more harm than good.

trying to get my blood counts up, but at least it wasn't low enough to get a transfusion. it's caused me considerable fatigue, but i started doing some exercises/workouts just the same. i bear with the pain and work around the injuries as best as i can.
i know i'm using a higher dose for trt purposes, but everyone is different, so test yourself to see what you think is best for yourselves if you're not under a doctors care for it. always do your research and know your body. my situation is not like most, unless you happen to have been at lejuene during the period of time they consider for being contaminated or any other base that may fall into that category.
welcome back the MC family missed you :)
@pgb you’ve dealt with a lot but you’re still moving forward and that says a lot about your drive. surgery delays are tough but it’s better they caught the heart issue first and kept you safe. low red count will drag your energy but just keep steady, train around the fatigue, and don’t push harder than your body allows right now. your current cycle is on the high end for trt but if you’re keeping tabs on labs and how you feel then you’re managing it the right way. switching to lats was smart if quads and glutes were too rough. keep working through the pain carefully and the strength will climb back up as your counts improve. keep logging your updates too because it helps others learn and keeps your progress on track.

that'd be nice if it was, however i have degenerative disc disease which was going on before trt. this along with a litany of problems caused by the contaminated water at lejeune which have been ongoing as well before trt. meds in general have been a big problem causing numerous bad side effects. one hypertension med caused the disc to completely disintegrate which in turn cause a pinched nerve. if i go off trt i'll feel like crap and i don't produce enough natural test on my own anymore. if you read my history, i started my own trt program, because my test levels were low and i couldn't get help through the va, but my problems health wise were already getting worse before i started trt due to contamination.

you usually don't see this type of thing. 99% of us have the opposite issues with our bloods. @pgb so its good to see you update us
