Hey Everyone,

It’s been a hot minute.
Thanks all for the past advice (2018 TKR thread, etc).
I have a question: In my situation, will I likely see a significant reduction in joint pain if I switch out my Tren stack for a Deca/ Test stack? I’m also interested in thoughts on efficacy. Other than Tren making me horny, will I see similar results in training?
Background:
I’m a 63 year-old male. 6’5”, 240lbs, 13.2%bf, nutrition on point. Been using AAS for about 15 years. I love my Tren/Mast/Test stacks. However, over the past few years my joints have taken a beating. Arthritis and years of training heavy. Consequently, I’ve got some significant joint pain.
I am also 10 weeks post op, recovering from a full quad rupture. I’ve read that Deca is good for tendon/ligament repair, as it increases collagen production.

So, bottom line: will Deca significantly improve my chronic joint pain?

I included the quad rupture pics for those interested.

Thanks,
Big Jim

@Big Mac welcome back to the MC family :) happy to see you share.

Your surgery looks serious and intense but 10 weeks post op you're pretty close to recovery. I cant ell you 100% trenbolone is horrible for recovery.

While Deca can help there are way new technology out there now like bpc157 and tb500 and MORE, but to really help you dial in, we need to have you share a LOG journal of what you're doing now. we don't want to guess when it comes to something this serious brother. :)
please start a NEW thread with your LOG journal, easy 15min share your diet training cardio and history (like you did here) and we can guide you for your recovery and into a blast as a big beautiful MC family.

HOW-TO LOG?

To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Please click the Steroids SARMS Peptides Forum
top RIGHT (orange color button) you see: +POST THREAD
click that

in Title: write your cycle name, like> My _____ Cycle Log
___ = the name of your log
example: My Recovery cycle Log
in body: write your planned cycle or cycle you doing now, your diet, training and we will help you along on your cycle

here are examples of LOG Journals

@Big Mac you won't heal quicker on steroids since they are inflammatory. they will actually delay healing in a lot of cases
they help with recovery and other things that may indirectly help. i think you probably are more wanting to use things like hgh, bpc and tb500

Only on cycle. If it was that good for repairs post op the docs would have you on it

@Big Mac
unfortunately injuries are a big issue. All the wear and tear we put on our bodies from throwing the iron around
hopefully you can word around things going forward!

Don’t I know it!! I’ve been working around pain and chronic injuries for 20 years.
But, that’s no reason to slow down!!

Yes, I was referring to “on cycle”.
Bro, at my age, I stay on cycle and blast 24/7/365! I’m just wondering if it’s a good plan to switch from Tren to Deca while I heal.

Thanks for the info, Brother.
I’ve never used any of those compounds. I will do some research.
I’m aware that they cause inflammation. Interestingly, I read an advertisement , on this site, which said Deca can actually reduce inflammation. See attached.
I appreciate your knowledge and input.

@Big Mac bros your best bet especially your age HGH IMO
i would do 1-2iu's per day
don't run too much you don't want water retention

Okay! Never used HGH. But, at my age, I’m all about using whatever it takes to stay athletic, healthy, and mobile, for as long as possible. It’s a losing battle but, I’m going down swinging!
I even went to CPI in Mexico for stem cell therapy! It healed, partial thickness, tears in my super spinatus and infraspinatus, in both shoulders! Amazing! But, that’s another topic.

@Big Mac
you can certainly try it. but any relief you get from deca will be temporary until you come off anyway
so make sure you are trying more smart going forward. no more going heavy

Thanks!
I don’t come off. So, hopefully I’ll be more pain free.
“Going heavy” is a relative term. I work more volume now. I run my mezzo cycles up to a heavy 3. No more heavy singles.

For me it just lubricates and masks the pain
