    Body fat minimum for a cycle after a long break

    I have a friend that is 20 percent easy and i told him he needs to drop some fat before getting on a cycle. What would you say is the most he should be at to start. I told him 15 would show me he is dedicated to getting into this but 12 would be great.

    I do some reverse crunches and a few crunches during the week. I don't go nuts but I think keeping your core strong will help from some back injury as well.

    How do you feel about this.

    Well I talked to a physical therapist for an opinion on this and he said no maxing and it probably was just a bad idea all together. He said joint damage and growth plate damage would be his main concern. Like I said more than anything the maxing is what bothered me.
