AAS Cycle Log: First Cycle

Weight was 187 a few minutes ago.
Been on vacation all week so plenty of time to eat and train.
Chest and shoulders yesterday was awesome.
Was feeling very strong...
Finally got 3 plates bench press.
Also did 305 for a triple which was my old PR.

Today was legs.
Did 6 sets Box Skwaats to help me focus on form.
Still working on anterior pelvic tilt issues.
RDL, Extensions and lying leg curls as well.
Not heavy weight but strict form.

When I started this cycle the goals were to be gain some size and break through some strength plateaus.
Both of which have happened.
Now anything extra is just gravy.
 
Weight is 188lbs.
End of week 6.
I've dropped the Test E down to 350mg a week.
I added NPP 100 mg EOD into the mix.
I also started running Anti-P along with Adex.
Stopped running Nova 2 days after dbol stopped.
Plan for now is continue bulking mode, gonna save the var for another cycle.
 
So, how do you feel about your decision to run your first cycle?

So far I'm very happy with the decision to run a cycle.
I'm very thankful to all the members, yourself included.
Originally it was going to be an all oral cycle but that evolved, and is continuing to evolve with the addition of IGF-1 Lr3 and now NPP.

It really turned out to be a great cycle bro, and you're getting excellent results!

You've still got some gains left in you. I know it!

We really spent quite a bit of time on this before you started, and YES, it evolved A LOT from the start!

Not too detailed (like mine tend to be), but just right.
It really looks like you've been doing everything almost perfectly.

I'm probably going to run this for another 4-5 weeks.
Then it will be time for a break.
Autumn is a pretty hectic time of year, with kids back at school and sports.

Nah, in the fall it seems were either driving them to school or the bus stop, all three go to different schools too (because of their ages).
Then after school there always seems to be practice or games, my oldest is a cheerleader so that's pretty much all school year.
The middle one does soccer, thats a long season running through to spring.
Plus Im the coach of her team.
The little one hasn't decided what shes going to participate in yet......

Weight is 184 today, down 4 pounds.
I'm assuming it was water weight, from coming off dbol and lowering test-e dosage down to 350 from 500 a week.
I'm eating evertything in sight, It seems like i'm always hungry.
Strength is still going up and I still feel bigger than ever.
The NPP seems to be working nicely, plus the with addition of IGF-1 Lr3 I feel great.
 
I wouldn't worry about the 4lbs, but yeah bro, I'm sure it's water.
I'm sure you are still holding some water from the Test also, but it will be a lot less @ 350mg/week.
You will still drop some more water as your Test levels drop a bit, but it's no big deal. It's a good thing!

I like the addition of NPP.
I've been wanting to try it, did you "feel" it once it kicked in?
How do you know it's working "nicely"?
I know most guys take it in small doses to help with joint pain, but it's also really good for getting rid of the inner abdominal fat if the dose is right (which yours looks good for cutting). Personally, that's what I want to use it for.
It also improves endurance, so that's a win, win for getting those abs to come through!

It looks like you're down to your last four weeks?
I'm sure you've made up your mind, but with your NPP dose a little low (it's perfect for cutting), wouldn't you think it would be good to run the Var?

I'm sure even if you leave everything exactly the way it is, you will still continue to grow, but if you dropped in the Var, you will be more defined and vascular by the time you're finished.
Especially in conjunction with the IGF!

That's just my personal recommendation bro.
I know I'm no Guru (WAIT, YES I AM!), Anyway, that's what I would do.
I really think that would work great!
You would basically end up with a bulk for the first four weeks, and finish with a really nice recomop for your last four weeks.
In the end, you'd be BIGGER, STRONGER, AND LEANER!!
What could be better than that!?

I know u do your homework, and I'm not saying anything you're doing is wrong.

It's just an observation I made, and I actually spent some time researching the idea before I posted this.
I think you'd be happy with it, but obviously it's your call, and either way you have already had an excellent cycle!

I can definitely throw the var in.
I wasn't sure if it would be helpful.
I was kinda wanting to see what the NPP was going to be like.
I feel stronger everyday. And since I dropped the test down I was crediting the new strength gains to the NPP.
It kinda has the feeling like the dbol.
Where I just feel strong and ready to lift and eat all the time.
I could be wrong though, I can only go by what I feel, if that makes any sense.
I'll take your advice and drop the var in next week.

End of week 7.
Weight was 184 again today.
Did a high volume back and trap workout yesterday.
Right now doses are Test E 350 a week, NPP 100 EOD and IGF-1 Lr3 80 mcgs a day.
Adex .5 EOD and Anti P 2.5 mg EOD.
Still taking milk thistle and NAC ed.
In the past 5 days I started tracking macros to ensure I'm getting the right amount every day.
This is the first time I have ever tracked my diet.
I train 4 times a week.
Split is: Back and Traps, Chest and Shoulders, Legs, then Arms.
Workout days, rest days and times vary.
Going to start var tomorrow at 50 mgs a day.
4-5 more weeks then either PCT or drop to cruising dose of just test, not sure yet.
 
Weight was 187 a few minutes ago, of course thats after almost a full day of eating.
Legs workout yesterday, trying to hit calves harder especially since thats where I like to pin IGF-1 Lr3.
Did goblet squats with a wider stance, I can really feel it in my hams today.
I try to switch up what kind of squats I do every leg day, Back, front, box and now goblets.

Arms tomorrow then off for three days. (busy work week)
I'm running the var 50mg a day and 75mg a day on workout days.
 
Back day:
Pullups 6 x 12
1 arm db row 6 x 12
Bent row 5 x 12 underhand grip

Db shrugs 5 x 12
superset with
Db upright row 5 x 10

1 minute between sets

Weight is still 187
Chest Day tomorrow.
