At 40, its just part of the game at this point. My right shoulder has its origin story being a kid and clipped a tree snowboarding, never got it looked at.

Typically in workouts when it flares up the recovery time is ~2 weeks, but I hurt it pretty severely ~2 years ago and it never healed. Just started benching again recently so I hope we aren't back to square one.
i think daily bpc tb into it would help though right @ckcrown84

Start of Week 3, block 2

I mainly just show my main movements, because who really gets all excited about most accessories

Supps:
200 test 200 Deca up until about a week ago now. So now
200 test 200 masteron.
Also layered in some anavar :)
Steroidify gear is solid as always, loving the anavar thus far.

I have been eating like an asshole, so no real point in dialing up my dosages. When I get back from the short family trip end of month I will revamp the diet. Yesterday, I went to Cosco and loaded up a about $300 in steaks. Unreal how expensive some meat is.

Week 1 on bench we cranked up 365 for 4x3 and an AMRAP of 6. Not bad.


Week 2 I was feeling spicy, went off program and pin pressed 475

Then Tuesday i did some super light OHP and re-aggravated my right shoulder, so took Week 3s main bench movement off. This right shoulder is driving me nuts.


Squats are going well. Week 2 featured a light 385 5x3 then 2x15 at 295

This squat workout alerted me that I need to tighten up on my food intake and ramp up them calories--from good sources. Hence the steaks, i can consistently eat those, just gets pricy.

I assure you it has nothing to do with mobility. Its a historical injury from clipping a tree snow boarding. Its cropped up over the past decade lol, however over the past 2 years its been particularly nasty--more than usual.

Thus I have to be pretty careful on exercise selection

When I was pretty young I clipped a tree snowboarding. My shoulder was ROCKED. I remember clearly having the exact movement issues/retardation of movement at that age as I do now. For example I have to rotate my right shoulder a certain was if I want to lay my hands behind my head. \

This injury never really impacted my training, I mean sure I couldn't do behind the neck presses or pull downs but other than that I was fine. Every few years I might irritate it during a training session--no common theme, sometimes dips, pullups, or even OHP. Its not a major acute pain, just minor irritation then a continued amount of irritation that preclude any form of heavy training. Typically this irritation lasts ~2-3 weeks.

The other year I hurt it, not sure from what movement as there was no acute issue just woke up one day with the shoulder impinged like crazy. Took my out for an entire year. I started my come back, had some nice momentum going, and then just fucking around doing a random OHP it inflamed again, but I am confident this time the pain will be short lived. Either way--I can still squat.

yeah people have all kinds of things they experience in life. for many its car accidents unfortunately
