I spent some time today looking over all the 2006 NPC shows in my area when I came across this in my Bodybuilding folder. It's good to have a bench mark to work from and I will use this thread to keep track of my progress leading up to the 2006 competitive season.
Thursday, my wife and I had a rare day off together and with the kid’s out of school decided to go to the beach. I was a little embarrassed about taking my shirt off and sat there in a t-shirt with a baseball cap on feeling sorry for myself. I’ve been using school combined with work as an excuse and have let my training / diet slip somewhat. Well, to be honest, I’ve probably only been training 2 times a week in the past 2 months and haven’t been taking in half the Protein I should. For some reason I’ve been able to maintain my strength, but have added some BF along the way. I’ve also been a little to liberal with the Beer’s. When we got back from the beach I went into work for a short shift and just went insane on the weights there. The following day I decided to destroy my Leg’s almost as if it were some sort of punishment. I took Saturday off to recuperate (I was working 24 hrs at the firehouse anyway) and managed to strain my back slightly while lifting a patient from an awkward position thus forcing me to take another day off.
On Sunday, 6-12-05 I weighed 193 lbs @ 13.5% BF via BMI.
I began eating DC style again on Thursday, 6-23-05 and now weigh 197 lbs @ 10.5% BF via BMI (I was super-hydrated and feel this may be a false low reading) I’d put myself around 12%.
I will begin DC Training again tomorrow 6-27-05.
Though I cannot list the details of my DC Training & Diet (for obvious reasons) I will give a daily record of my progress with pictures for feedback and to help keep myself on track.
I plan to compete in the spring of 2006 as a Light Heavyweight. I’m done being a Middleweight!!!
My current stat's:
37 y/o 5'9" 202 lbs with 13% BF via BMI
I'm off season and have gone back to my 4 day split similar to that of Dorian Yates.
